Decent fans these Nick. On the whole from what I have heard and read they are respectful towards our Club and what we have done so far this season.

I'm signing off soon until after the match so will give my thought on Newcastle and the game tomorrow. I am far happier before playing you than I was before we played Bristol last week because we'll almost certainly be up for this game. I can't tell how we'll play as we don't really have a set way and that's because every opposition team is different. We haven't lost in the league since the first game of the new year and our worst performances are in games we're expected to stroll through. We sometimes come out flying and that's why we have two of the quickest goals of the season and we've also scored 10 goals after the 85th minute so we can score at anytime. A misleading stat is that we don't often come from behind to win games, that might be because we are behind in games on average only 13 minutes per game and are in front on average just under 45 minutes per game. We have the best goal scoring record in the division and we have our top scorer back who will probably start on the bench and we have the joint best defence in the league. Atsu is getting more time on the pitch and he's spreading our play because we now have Ritchie on one side who is class and we have Atsu who is fast and had a few tricks, he's usually but not always good when retaining possession going forward. Shelvey has been our best player earlier in the season, when he's marked out of the game we've started to cope much better and others have stood up to be counted as can be seen when Ritchie made that pass for our second goal on Tuesday. Our defence can be good for 89 minutes of the game and drop a right bollock when they switch off. Lascelles can dwell on the ball at the back as he seems to bottle it when he has the ball at his feet and he would rather give it to somebody else than run with it and create space for others. Darlow is OK in goal but he's also made some mistakes lately. Dummett isn't the best with the ball, he can make some really good timely tackles and he might end up playing in the centre of our defence long term, you could get something from him. Yedlin is quite good as he has a lot of pace and that comes in handy when we're looking for somebody at the back to make a recovery. Colback is diabolical and one of the worst midfielders in the league, he's always one tackle from a card because he can't tackle. He can't tackle, he rarely makes a forward pass and he'll often run around getting into positions where the ball is never going to go. If he does get the ball you can be fairly confident that the ball is going in the direction of our own goal more often than not. The team I would put out would be. Darlow Yedlin Mbemba (will be Lascelles) Clark Dummett Shelvey Ritchie Diame (may be Passback) Gouffran (May be Murphy) (bring on Gayle if we need him on 60 minutes) Perez (may be Diame) Atsu I don't think we'll show any signs of being under pressure and I wouldn't be surprised if we have the same scoreline from Tuesday. I don't know how you feel about Rafa, my thought are that he's currently the best manager in this division by miles. Watch him when the balls out of play and you'll see how involved he is in managing us during the game. He doesn't rant, he doesn't throw his dummy out, he is so calm it's unbelievable and I think that comes with experience and it rubs off on our players. Don't underestimate the job he's done since taking over from McClaren, he's changed virtually everything at the club for the better. I would settle for a draw and would actually take a defeat if Brighton lose to Forest because we'll beat Reading next week and I've always had a soft spot for Huddersfield. It started when I was kid and just loved the badge, is that a sign of stupidity or childishness? Hopefully it's a good game between two good clubs and two good sets of fans who deserve better than they've been used to for a while. Hopefully the fans get on well together and enjoy a good day out. I've only been to your place once for a league match and it was a fantastic day, some of you might know why it was so good. No team gets promoted or fails to get promoted tomorrow, I do think that if we win tomorrow we'll go on to finish with a healthy lead by the end of the season over the team who finishes 2nd. Enjoy tomorrow, I will, no matter what happens. Not much point in us lot turning up, then... if you're THAT good! I could meet you half way up the A1 about dinner time and drop the points off for you. 😉 Just one thing I don't understand... if you ARE that good, then why are you not 20 points clear?

The fact that they aren't running away with it doesn't really reflect favourably on Rafa.

Not in a million fucking years. All your credibility down the pan in one sentence. Would love to have seen what kind of a fist Rafa would have made of it if he'd inherited Powell's squad and been given the same money to spend on players as Wagner... and on Wagner's wages too! Our man is in a different league.

We win today were 5 points behind with a game in hand. Win that and its 2 points.
Which would mean those 2 extra points have cost benitez about £50m each when compared to what wagners achieved.
that says all you need to know about who's the better manager!

Looking forward to the battle of the baldies in midfield today... could be where it's won or lost. If our man is on it, then I'll take us to win it.
Tension's building... getting very excited now. Come on Town!!!!!!
