Bit strange but not too bad.
The talk was that they wanted to prioritise the guys who have held STs the longest ie back to 2009, yet the only one that really does meant you had to also pay the fee last year. Assumed that wothout the TOT would have been priority 2.

PRIORITY 1 All supporters who were 'Super Priority' in 2016/17* and have ALSO had a Season Card for 10 years or have been displaced from their seat this season for the installation of the new gantry.
* 'Super Priority' fans had a Season Card and either a Terriers on Tour Membership, Blue & White Foundation Membership (having joined before 13 July 2017) or Patrons Membership (having joined before 13 July 2017).
PRIORITY 2 All supporters who were Super Priority in 2016/17* and have ALSO held a Season Card for the last three seasons (i.e. 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18)
PRIORITY 3 All supporters who have held a Season Card for the last three seasons (i.e. 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18)
PRIORITY 4 All supporters who have held a Season Card for the last two seasons (i.e. 2016/17 and 2017/18)
PRIORITY 5 Season Card holders for 2017/18
BALLOT 10% of each away allocation will be available via open ballot to supporters, who must have a previous booking history with HTAFC. Full details of the balloting process will follow; supporters will be able to apply for two tickets.

Disappointed to miss priority one by half a season but I think it's as fair as it can be

Well that's me not going to an away game this season, usually do 4 or 5. I'm in Priority 4, so probably 10000 in front of me. Oh well.

there will be people who are a bit cheesed off by this. The thing is I dont think there is a way to do this with complete fairness. some people were always going to be upset no matter what.

Meh.
All the away games will be on Sky or available on a dodgy stream anyway.

Happy enough because I am priority 1 but already decided that I won't go for any London games. Having lived down there it was always good to watch Town without having to travel 200 miles.

BWF & Patrons now irrelevant then in terms of ticket purchasing Past membership relevant in getting folk into Priorities 1&2 if they also meet the season ticket criteria

Don't think the club could have done anything else TBH, seems as fair as it could be, although there was always going to be some disappointed fans whatever they did.

Seems reasonably fair. It would be interesting to know roughly how many extra fans are introduced as you go down the priorities. The one question I have is this..... ...with there being six categories of sales, chances are that some folk who normally travel to away games together are likely to be in different bandings. Obviously the higher priority people COULD take a risk and groups could try and buy tickets en bloc like lots of groups of mates have always done...but...with the expected higher demand and the limited tickets available, I for one would be going straight in at the highest priority and not risking to wait for latter priorities to go on sale (which might not happen should tickets sell out (minus the 10%), or the open ballot. So, the question is, is the club able to somehow band tickets together so that once they've all been bought, I, as a category 5 purchaser, can have half a chance of sitting with the people who I'd normally go with, who are, off the top of my head, variously in priority 1, 2, 3 or 5 !! (and that's just the main 4 other people I attend with, ALL in different priorities!!) I'm guessing the answer is likely to be no, and they'll just ship the tickets as they're sold with no concept of groups. A shame really, the technology isn't quite with us, as this could work nicely.

Would be in P1 but without any of the memberships drops me down to P3. Pretty fair as people had suggested the 4000 reward (got money back anyway) as that is a huge group.

10 years but no b&wf so I'm priority 3. Dad missed 1 season (went to pretty much everygame anyway) but has b&wf so priority 2, was planning to get b&wf membership this year but no point now.
What I want to know is how will this change next season as it would seem unless they track purchases (although this doesn't help those who never get the chance) there's no way to move up.
It also sounds like the technology in the ticket office is terrible.

How could I forget the season just gone!!? I was going to say, there won't be 10,000 ahead of you, there were only around 8000 season ticket holders the previous season. But, of course, the previous season is last season.....so if you've just bought THIS coming season then there's likely to be more like 15000 ahead of you, give or take a couple of hundred who might have died or gone away?? ☹️ You'll still get a chance in the ballot remember....and probably still get a chance at priority 5 anyway for some of the fixtures outside the top 7, especially when they start getting shuffled around for TV and people start remembering that it's a bit crappy watching us getting beaten every other week!

Depends if it's assigned seating or sit anywhere at the away ground? Or is assigned seating mandatory in the Premier League?

Depends if it's assigned seating or sit anywhere at the away ground? Or is assigned seating mandatory in the Premier League? No idea. But I'd expect if EPL clubs are using the £30 and 3000 thing as an opportunity to maximise revenue from home supporters, then the likelihood is that the areas allocated will be literally FULL with 3000 supporters (or whatever the specific number is at any given ground), with no room to spill into. As such, you'd expect the away ends to all be assigned seats?? (The fuller an area is, the more likely it is to be reserved seating only??).

Hopefully they'll sort out the crap IT system that continually loses any reference to B&W foundation membership and therefore loses my 'Super Priority' status.
