Would be well pleased if it is the loyal 4000 and Blue and white foundation spent a small following Town year on year and would be the ultimate reward for all we have put in What if 3000 of the 4000 have never been to an away match? I've no idea but I would think some proportion of those don't go to away games. I've been to a lot of away games but Town have rarely sold out their allocation and I can't remember any away followings of 4000.

I can't see a lot of the bandwagon jumpers wanting to go to Southampton the Saturday before Christmas so games like this will sort themselves out. The only games that need addressing are the 'top 7' which most fans are going to want tickets for. IMO there should be an application process and you are allocated a game, or Two depending on demand. At least then we all get to go somewhere decent.

I'm not even that bothered about going to the bigger clubs, happy to see them at home, Palace was on my list of games I thought would sell out but id easy be able to get a ticket for, shame its the first game of the season

I agree with this entirely, people who do a lot of away matches last season will have spent far more, and arguably that support helped roar the team into the Premier League so was more valuable to the club. However the club doesn't have records of who went where so there probably isn't much choice this year.

Maybe the 12000+ who didn't stay loyal to Dean wished they had? I thought at least 8000 would have stayed out of the 16500+ who bought £100 season tickets, at least the club has a record of them..

Would be interesting if the 4000 loyal home fans felt if the fans who had gone to all the away matches during the hard times received money off their home season tickets while they received nothing?
Obviously there will be some amongst the 4000 who also attend away games regularly, I just find it odd to reward fans who have remained loyal at home with preferential treatment for away matches, regardless of whether they have regularly attended away games. As mentioned my folks could apparently be in line to get first pick at away tickets, despite not having attended an away match for approx. 18 years, that can't be right can it?

But if those same people who had watched town in league one and championship had not bothered going away (as you suggest) there is no guarantee they will want to go away in the premier league. Deans loyalty pledge recognises those fans who gave the club a level of income. The club gets minimal or no income from away ticket sales. If those loyal fans choose not to go away the tickets will be available for the next tier of supporters. For info, I am one of the 4000. My typical home matchday is a 180 mile round trip. So every home game is like an away game for me. If the loyalty thing works in my favour, great. If not, I will find ways of getting to as many of the away games as possible. I had to watch us qualify for the play off final in the home section at SWFC, but nobody was going to keep me away from that. Let's enjoy our 19 games at home and any away games we get to are a bonus!! Nice problems to have.

Some of us doing live in West Yorkshire, at £100 it viable if you can only make 5-6 games, at £300+ it isn't.

Loads of people arnt going to be happy. Just be how many little babies there are that throw there toys out the pram. I'm fully aware I won't be able to get my hands on a lot of tickets for away games even though I've been a regular home and away for years.
Only thing that would annoy me is if blue and white foundation members are given priority. I don't abide by the fact that giving a tenner a month or whatever it is should be given priority over people who have regularly spent fortunes following the club through the good and bad.

You could potentially have a blue and white foundation member who pays pocket change to the club each month who goes to a handful of games a season if that having priority over someone who's missed a handful of games the past decade.
I'm not slagging blue and white foundation members off and I'm sure most of them do go week in week out but it doesn't work out.

Apparently anyone who has moaned about the system in advance of the system even being announced is automatically excluded from away matches. Problem solved ;-)

and he might not want to help you then There's no help about it. You'd have someone that potentially only spends two pound a week on town than someone that spends between 30 - 150 a week watching town when the seasons on. Loyalty to me is going to games whether your blue and white foundation or not.

A good proportion of the 4000 will be older age group who're very infrequent away dayers.
