The "Super Priority" scheme was used at Man City in the cup last season. 700 were sold at that level before they opened up further categories....a game in much higher demand than West Brom, Stoke, etc etc X 14 clubs will be. Yes that's already been mentioned. Not sure it was that great demand. I wasn't even going to watch it on the telly as it was certain that DW was putting the reserves out again.

My question which I don't see being answered is "Why have a priority scheme " ? Because for many games demand will outstrip supply, hence the club would like to reward longstanding committed fans who have watched through many lean years. Its not perfect, but there isnt a system that can be when c10k fans would love to go to man utd, liverpool and we get 3k per game! I'm longstanding and committed .. and am priority 4 .. why. It open it up to everyone then everyone would have seen a few matches (or more ) each ? The notion that you are more dedicated cos you paid 20 pound extra is puzzling to me .. as is equating home season ticket with away attendance

Without reading 25 pages... I live in Hants and have always met mates at away games - where they've got me a ticket in advance. As such, I doubt I'm a 'registered' ticket buyer despite being a supporter for 30 years. Will I still be eligible to enter the ballot? Thanks Not sure if you don't have a purchase history. Have you ever bought any over the phone - think that should count as a purchase history? Even then you will be one of several thousand chasing 200 - 400 tickets. Should be fun. Hope them who have already got tickets are not allowed to have a dib for another ticket in the ballot. Thanks for the response. Apart from sorting tickets for Wembley for my old man, I'm sure I've always just met mates and paid them at the matches. I'd guess as Wembley was handled by a 3rd party HTFC may not have me on their system, I'd be on Ticket Master's or whoever administered it. I'll email the club. Probably slight chances of success but it would be nice to be in the hat!

Have they really though? To get in category 1 you've got to have been a season ticket holder for 10 years. Doesn't that count as loyal? Serious question, if you go to as many away games as your post suggests why on earth didn't you get TOT membership last year ? For only £20 to the club (& that's a point seemingly forgotten by some posters £20 went to the club not the Italian Mafia or Saudi Oil barons) you were trying to guarantee a ticket for your away trips last season. Still going regularly to away games, it was a Complete and utter no-brainer of a decision to join TOT last year. .........and for someone going regularly to away games I'd suggest it would have been frankly just stupid not to buy the card. I wonder how many people's interest in going to away games has been re-kindled by the fact that this season it's going to be Liverpool rather than Burton and Reading? The whole emphasis of this decision isn't about rewarding loyalty- its about rewarding those that spent £20 on an away thing last summer. the £20 is deemed a better gauge of a fans loyalty and lifetime support than YEARS of actually supporting the club, usually at times when it was crap and going nowhere. Someone who started getting a season card after we beat Sheff Utd at wembley is , just by spending £20, catapulted ahead of a fan who has had a season ticket for DECADES and watched town play in hundreds of away games! That isn;t even the funniest bit! Someone who had his first season ticket LAST SEASON, is catapulted ahead of the same lifelong fan, just because hes had to move his fucking seat!! LOL Its not an easy thing to come up with a solution to and whatever they did, some people wopuld be pissed off, but fuck me, i had to read it 5 times before i could take in what an utter shambles of a decision they came to. They talk about rewarding loyalty as their priority, whist at the same time shitting all over thousands of the most loyal Town fans- the ones who'll still be going if and when we slip back down the divisions! " been watching a lifetime? Had a season ticket for decades? ... well tough shit, if only youd spent £20 on a priority away membership so you could guarantee going to the 2 or 3 games it was needed for last season" They've not shit on thousands of fans tho have they. How quickly the £199 (or £100 even) season tickets get forgotten. I'm sure the last thing they wanted to do was upset anyone but it was always gonna happen. Two options, deal with it or let it ruin your season

Straightforward question. Does someone who is just a TOT member have priority over someone who is just a member of the B&W Foundation when it comes to getting away tickets?

That's why I think it's fair to go back 3 seasons.

Feel for you Dean Hoyle almost giving away season cards been one of the loyal 4000 I can remember paying not far off £500 for season card in division 1 and in more than 1 season wonder how many would have stumped up £500 for this season premier league wouldn't have been a bad idea seen has it's brought some very selfish people to the club regarding away tickets

Another question i would like to know the answer to is how long you will remain Priority 1 with TOT rather than B&W .
Ive been in B&W since day 1 and will continue to be regardless of the ticket priority attached , but how does a one off £20 compare to an ongoing £8.66 a month. Asking as i noticed someone querying about renewal of B&W , and ticket office said they would need to renew. So assuming if you don't you lose "Super Priority" - yet TOT won't ever have to pay again .
Will the TOT P1's next season drop down to P4?

still perplexing as to why they didn't look at away ticket booking history first though. Because it's impossible to track everyone equally. If someone bought every individual away ticket via the ticket office then the record is there, but how do you track someone who bought through their mate (which is what I tend to do to ensure being sat together), or someone who paid on the day? You'd end up with a potential scenario where two people have gone to the same amount of away games but only one has the history on record. Long-term, something needs incorporating, but for now that just wasn't an option.

Unfortunately, a fan won't interpret loyalty as what the club do. Loyalty to fans means schlepping up and down the land, early mornings, buying train tickets in advance, taking time off work for midweek away games, getting home at 3 am in aid of the cause. I'll be honest Ted, if you're not a regular at away games over the years there is no way you should be near the front of the queue now we've hit the big time. Ok I get people don't get to away games through family commitments, financial commitments or just general can't be arsed but that's your choice, although I guess money dictates at times. I guess in the interest of fairness it should be just open to everyone but I can see why some on here are pissed off.

That is a puzzling notion!

when the club came up with TOT they obvious placed a value on long term loyalty and came up with 20 quid which as I jane mentioned before equates to less than 50p per year - yes we were shite a lot of the time but I do think the value of my loyalty is worth a bit more than that - I apart from TOT I think the new scheme is as good a fit as it could be

It's not priority over B&W it's equal priority for away tickets....I sit on the ATT and I'm not in the B&W but I am TOT....at the ATT meeting when TOT was announced and TOT at the time had priority over B&W for away tickets I challenged it and said it wasn't fair to B&W members....with that the decision was changed and both became equal priority for away tickets...not because of the difference in cost but because of the principle...I compared it to a SKY TV package..B&W costs more but you get a lot more options and benefits for your money...options that I wasn't interested in...TOT was for away ticket priority only and is therefore cheaper than buying the full bundle...EG I bought the sports channel only...you get sports, movies, kids channels etc..Hope that makes sense....Also to note that the TOT scheme came out well before our recent PL status...I bought it to ensure away tickets for Championship games...never in my wildest dreams did I think it would help me get PL away tickets!!

Meet Garry, Harry, Larry and Barry. Garry has been a season card holder for 45 years. Never missed a home game. He pays his £100 each year for B&W membership to support the academy, to be in the lottery & canalside etc... he bleeds blue & white but he's never been to an away game in his life. He's a bit puzzled why he's got Priority 1 for AWAY games and is feeling a bit guilty that he could now take a ticket from Barry (more on him later). Meanwhile, Harry has been a season card holder for just 3 years, never beforehand. He coughed up a measly £20 last year for the illconceived TOT because he fancied a day out at Newcastle with his mate Barry (more on him later). It's the only away game he's ever been to. He gets priority 2 and due to his good found fortune is now looking forward to visiting Anfield & Old Trafford this year, this time without Barry (more on him later). Larry has also been a season card holder for just 3 years. Never been to an away game in his life. Didn't buy a TOT so is Priority 3. He's got a fast finger though and is confident he might just get to some of the big away games. He's also going try and get Barry (more on him later) a ticket for some of the 'lesser' away games. Barry, like Garry, is a lifelong fan, bleeds blue & white etc.... He's had numerous season ticket's over the years including the last 2 but skipped in 2015/16 due to ill health (Powellitis). He's also a B&W member, pays his £100 each year. Now Barry has travelled the length of the county following town. He can view all the away games that he has been to in his online htafc account. Due to his B&W membership he was Priority 1 last season and did every away game. Barry now finds himself in Priority 4. Barry has been shit on from a great height. Barry doesn't really have a problem with Garry but thinks Harry & Larry can go f*ck themselves. Regards, Barry Explained like that Barry does get a raw deal and it's a real shame that other fans now seem to have jumped the queue. There will be many other Town fans that will have been to way more away games than me that find themselves in a lower priority. I have only been going to 2 or 3 away matches per season over the last few years but luckily I'm Garry in this scenario and in priority 1, I intend to fully utilise the fortunate position I find myself in and get to as many away games that work and finances allow me too this coming season.

Including last season's Terriers On Tour in Super Priority is a real mistake - like many have already said it was a one-off £20 and most only paid it to make sure they got tickets for the Newcastle game (pretty much the only game it would effect).
Take that clanger out though and I think the club have pretty much got it spot on.

I don't see how anyone can say those in P1 don't deserve to be. As for the rest, whatever criteria was picked was goin to seem unfair to some. I think they have done well with clear reasoning.
Anyone who didn't pay 20 for ToT clearly isn't that bothered , or at least wasn't that bothered, about getting tickets for away games.

The "Super Priority" scheme was used at Man City in the cup last season. 700 were sold at that level before they opened up further categories....a game in much higher demand than West Brom, Stoke, etc etc X 14 clubs will be. To be fair we were offered about 8,000 tickets for that game so the higher demand wasnt going to cause any issues.
