No. they paid for a priority ,as you point out, last season. If we hadn't gone up, their £20 wouldn't have bought them a priority this season. But for some bizarre reason, because we did go up, it has bought them a priority this season too. Same as B&W and Patrons, who are eligible due to their membership last season. I could drop out of B&W now, and it wouldn't affect my priority ranking. So that's fair isn't it? Keep moving the goalposts mel, you'll score eventually! So moving onto B&W and the patrons. If you cancel it the day after you use it to get your priority 1, then i doubt theres anything the club could or would do about it. If your membership of either had run out before this scheme came into effect then you wouldn't get any priority for it. Yet even though LAST SEASONS TOT membership had ended, the same isn't true- it still gets you priority for this season too. can you not see the difference there?

As I said .. your quote was something along the lines of " I won't moan as long as I get my own way " You obviously feel that priority over others is something you have "bought" down the years .. personally I don't think I should have priority over you or anyone else .. and vice versa.. I'm fully aware this isn't a view shared by you ... or indeed a lot of others .. that's fine ... free speech ... I've called no one a "c***" over it ... we are all town fans ... I've got zero animosity to anyone who goes to all away games .. good luck to em I say ... we've collectively had to put up with enough shit down the years .... but I've read nothing in any literature for any scheme ever that says " if or when town get into the premier league then if you are in this you will be looked after " But good luck to you .. you obviously feel that you are the oracle about this topic.. so much so that you can call your fellow fans "c****".. I just wonder how you would have taken it if you had been in the same boat as someone like slapps who I feel has a genuine grievance ... I don't have a genuine grievance .. my blind loyalty over the years has diminished as I've got older ... I have no grievance I have no complaint ... what I don't like is smugness and sneering towards fellow brethren ... my 'smugness' will last till I dont get a ticket, remember we have 5 and that looks like an impossibility .. my smugness will last till I cant get in quick enough for liverpool or old trafford.. I never said I wont moan if I get my own way? weird interpretation.. The foundation always, always offered priority ticket booking.. on every piece of literature ever circulated about it, there is no change.. Someone was always going to have a grievance.. cant be helped or avoided given 20k plus season cards and some small allocations.. 'sneering'?? coming from you takes the final biscuit.. you sound like a cross between mother theresa and bono and as false as jordans tits..

yes, simple reason, the club and that includes Dean have chosen how to do this.. Too much talk about the 'priority' being non away fans, not being 'proper fans' and all the rest of the bollox.. If I and 20 others regularly attend away games and are in the 'priority' grouping then its obvious many hundreds of others are.. We are therefore being given what Dean promised and do we not want a chairman who keeps his promises. How they sort out who gets what was never going to suit everyone, and as previously stated I have no guarantee of a ticket or tickets for the bigger games, I might well not get one given the allocations but I will continue to pay in and support the club at home and any away game I can get a ticket for without being a 'moaning c-nt'.. And I fit all the criteria and all the anecdotal stories and history of shit away games in shit grounds for decades.. Some of us, maybe many hundreds fit the criteria and we are in the right category.. If Dean changes it next season then I and a few thousand others will have paid money for years to get 'ONE SEASON' of possibly being able to buy away tickets in front of others, thats all, thats it.. no stories or tales of hardship and fraternity with a few dozen hardy souls or anything other than I am getting what I ended up paying for. We started paying the foundation when the club was on its arse and couldnt afford to give us anything. That counts now. We follow this up by monumental moaning about the shirts and the perks for people moved because of our 'success' ? Im still having the dream, if you want the fucking nightmare and the moaning, fucking get on with it.. Ok, I will accept that I am a moaning c*** but after your post, you must accept that you are a gloating c***. The reality is that it is what it is and we must all just get on with it. Maybe we call a truce and a ceasefire from midnight. We could even have a friendly game of football in no-mans land ( that would pribably have to be in Ikea). how can I gloat?? Town chose the season I bugger off abroad (far too far to nip home) after X mas to reach the promised land.. my priority such as it is last about 5 months for all the years of paying in.. I will be very honest and post for you if I dont get any of the big games up till then, we can then be 'gloating/moaning c-nts' together If I get a ticket I will be sure to question others at the game about their 'heritage' of support and test them on shit grounds and shit games of the past, if they fail I will expose them as glory hunting/part timers... Still bet ya most of them will have done the 'hard yards'..

I have sympathy for them whilst recognising that pleasing everyone was an impossibility .... you have your views on me and me of you let's leave it there.

I said relative values, not cost! B&W is a package of many items, each having a contributory value. ToT is a package of 2 items if I recall correctly, in my case £20 for Sheff Wed & upping my 10+ years from P3 to P1 (which I expected to pay again for this season). If people hadn't criticised ToT so much I think I would have been asked to, so thanks for getting me a good deal! Relative value/cost. What's the difference? £20 vs £104 no matter what shite you come out with, in my 'overrated opinion " I'm right. Well you carry on thinking you're right, while I think you're too stupid to understand! End of discussion.

Should have been based on away tickets bought via the ticket office....
That would have given the true loyal away following first dibs on tickets. Any other system is a crock of shite and allows folk to jump the queue.

As someone who has dropped from 1st priority to 4th priority , I have known that the away ticket method was going to push me down the queue a bit. It's a fair do that long term SC holders have been rewarded, so I am accepting my lot,and haven't complained about it (much).
My only queries though was when Dean said , all those years back, that SC holders who not only got a Premier league SC for £100 but was ALSO get away game priority then I'd think this 'double' reward might have made a few (and I mean a few) buy a SC each year. To come out now and say the reward is not only a £100 SC for the Premier League but top priority for away games is slightly unfair imo. I'm not moaning about it, it's just that it wasn't mentioned at the time.
My second query is with regards to the ATT fans representatives who are the liaison between the club and the fans. We've had a few posts on here about feedback, better minutes and actual liaison (or lack of it) with fans on issues raised by the club. The club mention several times that this seasons away priority was influenced by the ATT committee who suggested the SC holding history should be included in any scheme. Now I might have missed it, but I don't recall being asked my opinion by any off the ATT representatives.
For the ATT to out forward the suggestion surely they should have consulted the fans they are supposed to be representing, shouldn't they ? I might be doing them a disservice, maybe they picked up comments from DATM all this time and used that to form their opinion ?
As I've said previously on the ATT issue, I'm not knocking the people who give up their own time to go to meetings and so on, but I have been critical of the feedback and liaison, which after all is what their role is supposed to be, not just their own personal opinions. This time their opinions were taken on board by the club in formulating a priority system and the shit has hit the fan a bit...so no one seems to have been asked or advised this was the viewpoint the ATT were going to put forward on their behalf.?
To reiterate, I'm not complaining about my own downgrading because I've only had a SC for 2 seasons but I do feel for some of the fans who seem to have a bigger case than mine for being higher up the pecking order.

Same as B&W and Patrons, who are eligible due to their membership last season. I could drop out of B&W now, and it wouldn't affect my priority ranking. So that's fair isn't it? Keep moving the goalposts mel, you'll score eventually! So moving onto B&W and the patrons. If your membership of either had run out before this scheme came into effect then you wouldn't get any priority for it. Yet even though LAST SEASONS TOT membership had ended, the same isn't true- it still gets you priority for this season too. can you not see the difference there? The trigger date for B&W / Patrons was 17th July 2016. TOT went on sale on the 18th of July. If you'd purchased either on those dates, and remained a member of either of the first two, until the season ended, then discontinued, you'd have gained priority 1 - coupled with a 10 year season card. I'm not moving any goalposts slaps - it's blatantly obvious to me, that the club have endeavoured to reward anybody that took up one of the options for gaining priority LAST SEASON, by rewarding them for it THIS SEASON. The fact that fans commitment to Patrons & B&W tends to be ongoing is irrelevant - its the time period of last season that was significant. As a footnote, I'd say anybody wanting to increase their priority rating going forward might benefit from joining B&W/Patrons, but that's up to every individual to consider for themselves.

Club are going to announce the numbers in cat 1 and 2 next week so at least there can be some facts rather than speculation. It may, or may not, be as bad as some think. If only 700 super priority tickets were sold for Man City then would this not indicate there aren't 1000's of ToT members with season tickets? Take out of that number any that haven't had a season ticket for 3 years, or have had one for 10, and P2 is possibly going to be quite small? It seems to be the clubs way to try recognise people who bought the clubs away membership and are also regular customers (ok 3 years isn't a lot for some of us but it's not 5 mins either). I wonder if the reason there is not a further 10 year banding before the 3 year one is to avoid appearing to go overboard on the 4000 and risk appearing to exclude more recent members of the flock. Or maybe the difference in numbers isn't that huge between 3 and 10 years. Man city is a terrible comparison. No idea why they used it. Fa cup replay, midweek, live on tv. How about Sheffield Wednesday in the play-offs? A very important game that actually mattered, sold out before lunchtime. 2k people. What is also terrible is that you could have been priority 1 last year (Wednesday playoffs) and priority 4 this year (no tickets for Liverpool, man u etc), pretty awful really. They shouldn't have done last 3 years but more like 3 out of the last 5 years or something to balance it for those who have had season tickets most years but for one reason or another missed a season. Or at least tier it in a way that rewards people who have been around for a while not just recently. Tbh if they had just kept the same system but added on last season as well as this season, it removes anyone who simply got a season ticket for the prem and doesn't cause an issue. Assuming they then update there systems they could track and start to bring in a system that rewards our away fans rather than home fans. How many tickets per person for those games could people get? Was it more than one each as that'll have an impact too.

Two sets of supporters very harshly treated by the new away priority system.
1. Long serving season card holders who didn't buy the ill-conceived, ill-judged and now discontinued TOT. Ironically it is probably the longest serving, those with the most experience of away days, who didn't buy a TOT... because they knew they wouldn't need it!
2. Any B&W foundation member (long or short serving) who basically didn't have a card for the 2015/16 season. They have gone from Priority 1 to Priority 4. Any system where someone drops 3 levels of priority overnight is frankly wrong and needs amending. The Club were still pushing B&W as a means to get away ticket priority after the end of the regular season, ie: to get tickets for the Sheff Wed game.

To be honest, other than have started planning for this by tracking away tickets for the last couple of seasons, which the club were told about, i think the system is as fair as it can be. The question i would have is how does my 10 year old son, who had a season ticket for the first time last year and went to 75% of away games, get up the priority ladder for future years? Me and my eldest son are priority 1, but all going to away games together was amazing for me and hopefully there will be a way of sorting this in future seasons.

I've gone from 'super priority' last season to priority 4 now. Seen Town play at 76 grounds in 18 years, but i've fucked myself over by being mostly an away fan for the past 6 or 7 years. Ironically now I probably won't be able to get away tickets!
Had about 8 season tickets from 99/00 until 09/10, but stopped going to home games as much due to shite atmosphere and stewarding, saved my brass for away days. I felt it was harsh at first, but the club can't possibly have records of ticket purchases and I suppose i've put bugger all money into the club either. The only sulk i'm having is because i'm not getting my own way, which isn't really based on logic.
I'm not gonna paddy about it because thanks to the Cowshed Loyal & the club for getting the south stand, I now have my ST in an area where we can have a reet party every other week

I do believe there will be a change for next season if we are still here.. There could well be a scheme where everyone with a buying history at town(you have to have one, league says so) will be eligible to apply for away tickets.. This season was thrust upon us and the amount of changes required and the work involved has led to 'hasty' decisions which were made in the best intentions.. There isnt the time or staff to start looking back and taking each fan on their own personal and previous support and purchasing of tickets.. The way they do it next season, should the 'need' be there will also upset a great many.. catch 22 and a no win situation will arise again.. The money injected into the club on promotion is still small compared to many of the clubs we are competing with and season cards will still be a 'required and vital' income and will probably still form the first basic of any eligibility to buy away tickets, finance dictates it..After that who knows what the criteria will be, first come maybe??

I really think that throughout this season, they will get something in place ready for next season regardless of what division we are in. Realistically, I think a couple of thousand new season ticket holders will disappear as they are only here for the one season!un They need a points system, and a priority system in place for future season to keep track of everything, its going to be a process and we have to be patient, in the long run it'll come good and the true fans will be top of the pile eventually! I totally agree with that it is such a short space of time to get everything in place, and decision had to be made, and no matter what, someone was going to be unhappy, but tough shit, this is how it is, and if you're going to be there no matter what, you'll be top of the priority over time!

Terrible system with a somewhat bizarre favouritism for people who've watched us since we reached the championship yet little for those who attended the 10 years previous. If you missed the Powell season by choice or necessity as in my case then you ain't going to any away games. Tough to take.

Think we are going to get some tickets in P4 but I have no expectation that they will be for any of the "big" games, and I don't feel any entitlement either. The root cause is that away allocations are poor, but then again we wouldn't want to give up many/any more home seats ourselves.
