Anyone still got the e-mail cos wouldn't mind seeing when it may/may not be going live Found this posting on here downatthemac.proboards106.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=5011&page=1Might help! found this on the official site tinyurl.com/yujjpyNot heard anything since April 9th when it was first announced and the extra details URL appears to now have been removed although available of the official site page. Perhaps when Dean Hoyle came in he felt that this idea did not have much commerical quality about it.

I've spoken to Sean Jarvis about it this evening.
Apparently it is something they want to do but the Football league have fired a shot accross their bows to stop them progressing the idea at the moment.
The FL want them to use the official site for the purpose, but the club would have preferred to have their own channel as they can make more money from it.
It is ongoing and he promises to update the fans when there is anything extra to add.

All they do is restrict clubs reaching their full potential, mainly as they've lost their right as a governing body of the Greedy League. The cups that they govern are mediocre competitions, with half empty grounds and no historic meaning. I didn't mean for this to be taken off topic, but it's just a typical case of meddling by authority in an area which doesn't need to be meddled in!

While we are (sort of) on the subject can anyone tell me why all the FL clubs websites are the same. Are they required by the FL to use these?

To be honest I also think we should buy out the website agreement and look to do our own thing.

Which Football League clubs have a TV channel? Our fellow neighbours Leeds Isn't LUTV just the equivalent of the Hudds Town World thing that the clubs that have FLi websites have? (some info about FLi)(LUTV)

Its all linked to the FLi agreement that means we are unable to run a TV channel outside of the website. But I have and am continuing to try and push boundaries with FLi so we can do this. It a long story and can explain to the HTSA at next meeting.
As for Leeds they are not part of the FLi agreement so have got the ability to do.
The other question is the commercial viability of our Tv channel at the moment - and am still investigating that one
Finally technology changes almost daily so am concious that we don't get tied into something that can be out of date quickly
Cheers
Sean
