I am not sure Wagner definitely sees it like that though. It was obvious when Hogg Mooy and Billing were in the team, back end of the season, that Hogg and Mooy should be played in their usual formation, but Wagner played Mooy forward and it was crap. But that was only because Brown and Palmer were unavailable...he picked Mooy as he's better than Payne. ....and I think he got that the wrong way round as well - I'd have tried big Phil up there instead of wasting Mooy at 10.

Agreed, but if you have to play the three and leave Payne out then surely the Hogg / Mooy partnership was sacrosanct. I would have experimented with Billing further forward, until the inevitable injury.

Ninian Park & The Den: I should read all the posts before replying, sorry hadn't seen this.

Is skippy running towards us or running away? Well he looks as though he's heading west so that's a start

Has he just found out Town are in the Premier league? It's the moment after Schindler's penalty went in. He was hiding behind the tree up until then. Couldn't bear (ouch!) to watch.

His social media activity would suggest that he is back in the UK.. Hopefully some sort of signing will be announced soon, the standard of threads lately has been awful. He's supposed to be playing against Cameroon in Russia in about 6 hours. I suppose if he's at Heathrow right now he'd just about make it.

Anyone who tunes in to Oz v Cameroon, have a look at Tom Rogic. Belter of a player.
