The reason every players we've signed seems to be getting leaked is because we are now in the premier league. Town can't keep it to themselves anymore because all the media outlets will go to all lengths to to break the news first . We are premier league now it's the way of the world . I mean that's true to an extent but surely we could've announced Mooy today (I understand Mounie might have been held back because of the President thing) rather than him announcing it via the media. I'm sure the PL thing is causing some issues but it seems we've also been a bit slack on it, probably to coincide with the kit launch. |

It's been on the back burner while he was in Russia. It may have been agreed in principle or close to being complete, but not a done deal. The tweet I mentioned earlier on the thread was the first time I had seen something from a reliable source confirming Mooy was a done deal. Everything else I have seen suggested the fee was agreed but nothing else. Within a couple of hours an Aussie paper released the story. Looking forward to official announcements, hopefully on Friday. |

The players are superstars now .
The players we sign are big news, and all the sports reporters want to be first to tell us about them .
The days have gone when we can keep players we sign under wraps until we try our new shirts on nobody cared who we singed in the championship, it's an all new ball game now though. Welcome th the premier league boys .

townrwe, no offence, but feck off, nobody other than you gives a flying monkeys bollocks about your supposed success rate (especially as it was more than a little bit well known that we'd be after him and would more than likely be signing him). The board would be a better place without you, or at least without your supposed success rate tosh that's clearly little more than you wanting a public ego boost and to say "hey, I knew something, look at me, I'm amazing". Nobody but yourself is interested in your supposed success rate.
