So, at the moment half of those who claim to be 'itk' say it's all signed and awaiting international clearance and the other half who claim to be 'itk' say he's failed his medical - with either a heart or achilles issue.
If he is officially unveiled in the next few days then I guess we know which 50% to believe next time!

Come to think of it, if he's done his Achilles in training, then surely he's done it today. Wagner was very positive this morning, something he surely wouldn't have been if he knew he'd already got an Achilles problem? And as no ones seen him training today, it seems highly unlikely, or am I just trying to convince myself?

I'm sure we will get to know early next week

If he'd have failed his medical I'd have expected something on the Montpellier site. The delay in getting international clearance sounds a plausible explanation, he is Beninese, not French. Town want it 100% over the line before announcing anything official, though this doesn't explain the photo's of Mounié in the new strip.

Two ways I know. One friend over here who works with me where I live is good mates with a few of the Montpellier Academy. Confirmed here in France Theres a picture of him in the kit, Town can't mess something up that bad. (The latter may not be true, but the former I'd put my house on it, he's well informed of a lot of goings on at the club) Yep, no denying it's all but done. But none of that accounts for medical complications, unfortunately. I'd have thought with a leaked photo if that was the case, Town would have come out and said probably by now.

Bizarre that sky said we'd announced him yesterday... Then pulled the story. They were obviously expecting us to have announced him but we didn't for whatever reason. Odd

Ask him to ask his HP ?
Weds to Fri is 48 Hrs - but say they only got it on the lab Thursday morning after late physical on Wednesday afternoon - then Monday/Tuesday not unreasonable time frame in working days?
Anyway more to keep the BP going now next week

Me too, I was talking from when we request them for patients at work and the longest possible wait of 48 hours that we give just to be on safe side of getting them back. They are always available well before that

They are always available well before that Probably quicker in the NHS than private as they are fully tooled up to turn them over quickly. If there is an issue/problem and they needed to get a private consultant to view them could take quite a while I guess. Could be all sorts in the blood from Benin - bit of Malaria etc. Just as an aside - would we lose him for the African Cup of Nations- no idea if Benin are a strong side?

That's a good point actually as they probably won't have their own blood labs and he won't be able to get it on NHS. Seem to remember hearing that they failed to qualify

This news has left me kind of blue So what? What an album. I was in a place called La Concha last year (google it) in the Sierra Nevada foothills (Lecrin Valley, Spain) and Flamenco Sketches came on the sound system. Simultaneous orgasm/nerdgasm.
