Don't listen to most shite spouted on Twitter.
He's signed and there are no problems.
The only reason is due to Louis Nicollin passing, the French as people and in communities are a very respectable bunch, they are open with everything, hence the manager mentioning regarding Mounie in an interview.
It would have been very disrespectful to announce their best player leaving right on the passing of Nicollin. I heard the clubs had some form of agreement and rightly so regarding the matter.
Just to add, Montpellier I've been told are keeping tabs on one Cristian Lopez.... Not as a direct replacement mind you.

Concern over injury or something? Heart from what I've been told. Sounds worse than it is and should all go through as planned. That's probably why we first announced the signing of the Wizard of Aus, so that he can fix him. Which means that Palmer is the obvious next announcement |

Something like a heart issue being spotted on one of the tests is more likely
