My abiding memory of the game at Ayresome Park is the ball getting wedged between the stanchion and net when Steve Smith scored.

I was at the match at Blackburn, and remember well the excitement when we won. No I did not run out on the pitch. But I also remember the home fixture at Leeds Road when I thought that Knighton was absolutely brilliant.

Interesting that there were accusations of diving to win penalties in 1970. So it's not just a phenomenon these days.
