No. Just people who have a different opinion to you. You think people who question why Town and any other club will bring in players on loan deals whilst at the same time sidelining contracted assets who won't safeguard the clubs future value in them are espousing an opinion?! They aren't, they are simply people that need guidance as to how the world works. That wound you up?! 😂

And we could get Ishy Miller back, you always said he was better than Nakhi Imagine Ishy Miller in this team. He'd be just as shit as he was before.

In response to a few posts, if Nahki has categorically stated he wants to leave then that's that. We have to get what we can for him. But has he?. I just don't buy it that the lure of such as Burnley is so great. Yes, I know he turned down a new contract but unless he has done twice. It's fair to say a little bit has changed at the Club since the first time! (and I am not sure there has been a second). This smacks to me of some sort of breakdown in relations between the Club and Nahki (or representatives that granted may have pissed Hoyle and or Wagner off). None of us know the exact detail on here but from the outside looking in, we haven't tried that hard to keep him. I really believe had we wanted to keep him, a deal could have been done as the way he applied himself January to May did not look like a Man deseperate to leave. Maybe he wanted more money. Such as Tottenham over Huddersfield, perhaps! but Burnley. Not for me. There has to be a breakdown in relations and not just blanket Nahki will not sign for Town. We have to hope that Mounie doesn't get injured and Depoitre who none of us know very much about is better than Nahki (which for some reason seems to be the general opinion based on I am not quite sure). Either that or wingman Quaner and Kachunga it is. Would in my view have been the right thing to do to have Nahki to call upon. He wouldn't have let us down. He won't let Burnley down who have on this occasion done the shrewd bit of business and not Town for a change. [br For a striker who has never been particularly prolific at championship level (less than 1/3) - im surprised at how much your reading into it. Wagner's worked with him long enough to judge whether he's good enough or not. Maybe he just don't rate him that highly.

Wood and Wells will be a good combo for Burnley (Wood and Grey would have been even better). Small regret in Nahki going is that at Town we never saw him in his best position alongside a big lad. I think he will surprise a few in the Prem and a good bit of business for Dyche. I admire the way Wells worked hard to adapt his style to the lone striker role. He leaves us a far more accomplished player than he came. He has provided some top moments. The first was that dramatic late goal against Millwall on his debut. I was right behind the line of flight for that free kick at QPR, and I thought he kept his best 3 games for Town in the play off games....a bit of a masterclass from DW on how to get someone fresh for a bunch of games. A good summary of his top moments... I'd add the winner last season away at Burton. Poor game but Wells came up with a poachers header in a game we didn't look like winning, a vital three points. We went wild in the away end on a cold Tuesday - great memory!

I wish people would stop describing Wells as a 'legend'
He hasn't performed at the right level for quite some time and we've got rid at the right time for us.
Bone stupid move for him though - he's going to be a bench warmer at best and certainly behind Woods.
He should have swallowed his pride and gone to a mid or lower Championship club where he would have played.
But good luck to the guy - served us well - but 'legend', don't think so.

Good player who will do well at Burnley. He will no doubt make a few people say that we let him go cheaply or that we should have kept him.
He will get better but he didn't suit our play and that was the only difference. He did a good job with what he was asked to do last season but it was always a square peg in a round hole, we've now brought in those round pegs and he was not favoured by Wagner.
If they play him in a style that suits him he will do great, best of luck Nakhi and thanks.

Got a feeling this deal could come back & bite us up the arse..the way Wells gave Lees & Loovens the runaround at Hillsboro was a joy to watch, looks like the agent got HIS way!

Bradford will be pleased, nice chunk of cash heading their way. Glad it's done and dusted, decent deal from Town's point of view bearing in mind the contact situation and adds to the coffers. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

His is a quality player now, playing that role under Wagner will have really improved him, Think he will go well at Burnley, but not sure he will ever be clinical enough for the premier league. I for one wish him well.

Thank you for everything Nahki, go down as a club legend for what you did in the play offs, all the best in your future ! I like Nahki but legend is pushing it a bit. That should be reserved for the likes of Booth, Stewart etc. Nahki was a decent player for us but he wasn't going to get game time here, and I'm not sure he will at Burnley but good luck to him.

Burnley have "had our pants down". Harlee Dean went for half of the price and he is a Championship CB with 1 year left on his contract. Poor business by Town but we go on.

Jimmy, it comes from Wagners address to the crowd in St.Georges Square for the playoff celebration. To paraphrase Wagner, it was something along the lines of "before these players were hero's but now they are legends in the history of Huddersfield (the first Town team to be promoted to the Premier league). You'll be able to find the full address on youtube. Edit: youtube link "you should never for get in life what this group delivered. These are not heros, these are legends, living legends" I think Wagner is right. The team of 2016/17 achieved some unexpected and unprecedented. They will do and deserve to go down in thehistory of HTAFC as legends. I'll certainly give every single player of the 2016/17 team a big cheer whenever they return to the JSS with various other teams over the coming years.

Wasn't too fussed if he stayed or went however Burnley got £18m for Andre Gray who had 1 year remaining on his contract. We have massively undersold ourselves here.
