That Fulham game in the League Cup was one of the great games. Allan Clarke and Johnny Haynes playing for Fulham.

Can vividly remember Chopper's near disastrous error in his debut, mentioned above.
Discussion afterwards was of the "Why have we bought that deadbeat," variety.
Little did we know that he would go on to be a legend.
Jonathon Hogg perhaps a similar type of player (if such a comparison is remotely valid?)
Loving reading these reports, making me dig deep into the memory bank.
