Just imagine what they would do if the roles were reversed. I'd not suggest booing, but hands firmly in pockets doesn't seem unreasonable.

I'll only clap if I can sing "We all hate L**ds scum" at the same time ;D*
*P.s, to the P.C brigade, that was only a joke!

In my opinion this minutes applause/silence would be a perfect chance for a full rendition of 'smile a while'. Or at least a bit of, 'YID, YID, YID!'

Back in the old days he was the ginger haired Anti-Christ to Alan Ball's Ginger haired Christ .... so maybe he deserves the clap wherever he is now;)

Chatting with a lad in my office who's going tomorrow and he's questioning why they need to have a minutes applause for this. So how about this, when they ask for a minutes whatever, all Town fans turn their backs? Simple but effective.

Personally I will applaud but that’s just me. I did not know the fella or like the team but will show my respect.
It’s my opinion but what's the point in lowering my standards to those of the knuckle scrapers in the home end? At the end of the day it will mean they have dragged me down to there level by booing or similar. This is from someone who has been in the away end many times listening to Munich 58, Who's That Dying On The Runway etc as a visiting red!
I have friends who support Leeds and are decent people who have my friendship and respect, infact a couple came with me to the Town game when we did the George Best minutes applause and they clapped wholeheartedly as everyone else in the ground.
They are not all bad just a minority!

Yet I've had to observe minutes silence for Matthew Harding, Princess Anne and now Billy Bremners tenth anniversary! Princess Anne is dead? I need to watch the news more often!
