Too right, if it's disrespected like the Croat National Anthem, L**ds will be really fired up and we'll get spanked.

We should have made it a minutes silence, you couldn't possibly have gone a whole minute ;D
Regardless of anything, i don't think LUFC will take much firing up Saturday, 32000 screaming yorkshiremen will ensure that we come out fighting.

just out of interest I think it is a minutes applause not a minutes silence. That way no one will know whether idiots disrespect it or not.

Whilst I would like to stress (to his family) I don't want to disrespect BB in any way, are we going a little OTT expecting a football crowd to respect a minutes applause for the TENTH anniversary of an Ex-players death.
Shortly after the death I can understand but the anniversary?
I'm sure we could find an anniversary to hold a minutes applause for before every single game.
With regard to Leeds fans WHATEVER the Town fans choose to do, given how the Leeds fans reacted to the minutes silence for Busby & how they glorify the deaths in Munich would they REALLY be able to take any moral high ground.

I agree it's over the top. I wouldn't mind but when the last Thrice Champion Joe Walter died (and the great Herber Chapman side was consigned to the history books) - I believe just before the play off game with Bristol Rovers (another of Walters' previous clubs) - we weren't allowed a minutes silence Yet I've had to observe minutes silence for Matthew Harding, Princess Anne and now Billy Bremners tenth anniversary!

Not much of a Royalist evidently The Queens' sister who liked a drink, Margaret was it? As you can tell her passing really upset me... maybe I'm in denial and want to believe she's still around!

I hate yiddys with a passion.....but its the club and the fans I hate....not individual players. However, it IS too much to ask opposing fans to clap the anniversary of another teams ex players death. As an aside....how many Town players have gone on to play fror the yiddys? I can think of Cherry....Ellam.....Worthington.....any more?

I know of fans who where considering singing that "Whos that dieing on the pavement" song at leeds. I doubt these will do anything other than boo for that minute. I will not applaude, and I wont boo either unless my passion takes over hen I get there. But in seat JJ 0001 I reckon I will be right inext to l***s scum .
