Perhaps we need to start a thread “Town are falling apart again”. What a shambles.

Living with a Leeds fan, I’m patiently waiting for them to fall apart on Sunday. Even the other half doesn’t think they’ll do it after their last few matches 🤭

Man City v Leeds in Youth Cup Final this evening. Another Friday night 4-0 drubbing for L33DS......1st team not the only ones falling apart.

Alex Neil or if Donny aren’t promoted, Grant McCann. Someone in the technical area who knows what they are doing, has experience of League 1, will command respect from the players and the opposition and will take no shit. Absolutely no more unknowns from Europe or “projects” along the lines of Fotheringham. We need to have learned our lessons of the recent past.

None of them are in any kind of form Norwich 1 win in 5 and the other two have 2 wins in 5. As for being defensively sound, they've conceded 20 goals more than Leeds. It is West Brom who you could call defensively sound having conceded only 4 more than Leeds I just think the quality Leeds have will get them through in these tight games. You’re talking about over the season and boosted by good runs of form. Leeds have fallen apart. Oh look, a clean sheet.

The Norwich v Leeds game reminded me of our home 1st leg against Wednesday , a nothing of a game with Wagner happy to take the game to the 2nd leg, where the pressure overwhelms the home side .

Dad and sis (usually two of the most "normal level-headed" L***s fans) complaining about referees and how they're ALWAYS against L***s. I saw a table (can't remember where and can't find it online) showing how it should look if results were honest and no mistakes made. L***s had (at that point) had so many dodgy decisions go their way they were 4 places higher than they should have been. Town were still only 20th though

I was chatting to a Leeds fan this morning who was complaining about the cost of his ticket £41 for the Norwich game, guess what he's not going.

Can’t knock their first half tonight. They were 17 points better than Norwich even with a shite finish to the season. Hardly surprising to see them cruise to the final despite some on here thinking differently a page or two back

Remarkably, there were some of their fans up in arms when Farke got the job. Apparently, they deserved a bigger name.
I can't think of a better Championship manager. He's been a great appointment.
Should they get to the so-called-promised-land, I'm not sure if he can cut it.

We may well have beaten Norwich tonight.🤔 No gameplan surfaced in either game from Wagner.. The home leg wasnt just a 0 0, the performance was meek and so safe, it hurt to watch it.

Yeh, Marti showed him the way in Shepherd's Bush a couple of weeks ago but DW decided to stick to the plan that worked for him in 2017..........Lids were really there for the taking (as QPR showed) & the Canaries gift wrapped the tie for them, stopped watching at ht & switched over to the horror channel.

That's about as good a play off performance as you will ever see, from Leeds. The gulf in class between that and the shit we've been watching this season is enormous. Doesn't look like they're falling apart based on that performance.

That first goal has spurred them right on. Gunn has gifted them the game with 2 howlers. It was partly a great free kick, partly a shit wall and partly shit goalkeeping. When Mooy did it against Wolves we all thought he was a genius Mooy's was 20 yards out curled around a wall. That was 30+ yards out tapped at an all but empty net because the keeper went walkabout. They're not even close to being similar.

Yes, Leeds haven't been very good have they? Not overly interested in how good Leeds may or may not have been. They were allowed to play in both games, which is unlike Wagner when he chooses to go safe. The home leg was a very strange Norwich performance. If you allow Leeds to do their thing, they are very good at it. We will not be in the same division as leeds next season, my interest in them has diminished.

Its close enough to have a shot at goal, its therefore down to the defenders to cover a chipped in cross, the keeper has to concentrate on dealing with a direct strike on goal. He did neither tonight, he even moved slowly for the shot.

Ah well - Being in Connel at the family home for the week, I suppose the bonus is that I didn’t need to here Lewis the Leeds fan next door roaring four times...
I see the final is on Sunday 26th May - It clashes with Bruichladdich Distillery Open Day at The Islay Festival of Music and Malt so I’ll be out that day as well -
The only consolation for me if they did prevail is that Lewis would probably treat me to a good few bumpers of his finest Kilchoman Distillery Malts as that’s where he works...
But if it’s a few glasses of malt or Leeds stay down then it’s a no brainier -
And even a whisky enthusiast like maself would half to forgoe the kind offer of free quality whisky for another season of Leeds in The Championship !
