Remarkably, there were some of their fans up in arms when Farke got the job. Apparently, they deserved a bigger name. I can't think of a better Championship manager. He's been a great appointment. Should they get to the so-called-promised-land, I'm not sure if he can cut it. I told my dad and sis (who both complained about his appointment) that they should put money on going back up this season. TBH though I expected them to get auto, not the playoffs. Farke is a great manager at this level and I wish we'd got him after Carlos did one, not that there was even a remote chance of it.

L**ds fans will be fairly quiet at work tomorrow,at least I shouldn’t get much grief anyways, think if Weds had lost Carvalho would have been sacked, seems a decent genuine bloke and I noticed a lot of feeling for him in the goal celebrations. Tempus fugit. Time to re-title this thread?

Tempus fugit. Time to re-title this thread? Nah- it’ll be appropriate again soon enough. The nature of football, this thread will remain and become like a dormant volcano, erupting from time to time… I hear from the geologists that they’re monitoring a potential problem in the Beeston area, that has the potential for a huge failure in about a week or so… 🤞🤞🤞

Hopefully they’ll get beat at Wembley (on penalties) and we can all enjoy watching them crying on the telly…again. Failing that, a season of struggle and fighting against relegation beckons in the Prem with a few bummings thrown in along the way. What’s not to like about that?

But I care about them so much I didn't even know last night's score til this morning when I got the obligatory gloating texts from my L***s mates

I can't stand them, they actually think they are a massive club and if they go up we will never hear the end of it. It was headline news on Radio Leeds this morning and there all a bunch of hypocrites, i just hope they get stuffed big time at Wembley and i suppose because they are so big they should get more ticket's than who ever they play.

Tempus fugit. Time to re-title this thread? Nah- it’ll be appropriate again soon enough. This thread started when we were in the Prem, and Leeds in the Championship. Now they're just one match away from potential Prem. membership, whilst we flounder into the third tier. As someone noted above, it's Town who are falling apart now.

Don’t let the fuckers mention the Fairs cup either - if the European Cup/ Champions league had been around back in the day we would have had a few of them as well. 😀

They have ridiculous money behind them. Sadly, guys like Benham at Brentford and Bloom at Brighton won't be able to compete. Bizarrely, American sports are incredibly socialist. You get the draft where the weaker teams get the top pick. No shirt sponsorship. Maybe it's time for England to do the same.

I’ll bet it’s bedlam on their version of DATM today, with more folk going for tickets than they have capacity. I remember being in Fuerte when Jordan scored, and having much correspondence with M UK based mate to get tkts..

Saints have sold all their allocation for the final. (I'm going. Fair enough. Son of Saintly has been been with me to all Town's playoff finals.)
Leeds fans - with no tongue in cheek- said they could take any Saints tickets that had not been sold .
Don't you just hate the deluded nature of the Bellenders!

They arent confident, also they think they are 5/6 starting players short to compete in the PL as well. Thats 200m in transfer fees Anyway i was slightly goading them about the new plans to extent bellend rd. theres constant stuff on Facebook about they need 60/70,000 seats. My mates laughed and said, 'its only a few years ago since we stopped opening the east stand upper tier'. These are two of the most sensible chesties on the planet and even they agree their fan base is mainly deluded its just a matter of time before they go bust again and the council buys the skip and their training ground back off them again.

Lets face it, the once Mighty Leeds Utd!! could fill Wembley on their own or that is what they want you to believe at the Big Yellow Skip. Their support has always been dire for the 3rd biggest city in the country behind London and Birmingham statistically they are the worst supported club in the country.
