Im fully behind a manager who can alter things when its obviously going badly.. I dont like dogma and those that insist on 'doing what we have always done' even when the whole situation outside of your control changes, its daft.. some managers would still be buying betamax recorders because they will come 'good' eventually.. hope dave isnt one of them.. I shy away from those that have the life mantra of 'its good enough', they are losers.. Ooohhh your a hard taskmaster.. 14 th in premier league In the draw for 5th round of fa cup.. Yep we are a fooking shambles arnt we 😂 we look a shambles too many times.. 14th in the premier league now is the same for me as top after 2 games.. If he does not change how we approach games we will be relegated and be less well remembered than the incredibly dull and ineffectve boro of last season.. too many teams have just stood and watched us do nothing with the ball for too long before taking the game away from us.. its often a really dull shambles, which is even worse..

West ham lost to a lg1 team spurs and swansea have beaten us in the league and west ham have done it twice.. the argument in the big scheme does not hold up,,, our result was not shocking, I dont think anyone was shocked, that might be the problem? we describe ourselves as little old huddersfield and everyone else is joining suit..

It's making the point that in the fa cup the "big"team doesn't always beat the "little" team. You should google Delusional bro..then you might understand its meaning

It wasn't shocking because we are currently in a poor patch and we played a championship side, some say have championship quality players so is it really a shit result? Again, a champions league quality side couldn't get past League 2 opposition, which is the more shocking result?

You should google Delusional bro..then you might understand its meaning Don't need to. I was brought up using a dictionary. You know, a real book. :-) What you and others are doing is making excuses and thinking of reasons why we are not beating opposition that we should be. We SHOULD be beating teams like Birmingham easily and not even contemplating the idea of a relay at theirs.

A league side at home with a full team and one defeat in 13 gets completely outplayed by a Prem reserve side. A Champs reserve side get a deserved draw away despite just 5 wins in 29 matches. Dress it up all you like....we have had 6 dire performances in a row...3 of them some of the poorest i have ever seen.

We need to be more mobile, defend in two banks of four, and attack with more pace. We are so predictable that a Sunday League coach could have worked us out by now.'
If DW thinks we don't need another striker then I'm afraid we are going down. We need a mobile, aggressive striker in the Stewart mould. Mounie and Depoitre are too much alike, and we need something different up front. It's not all about crosses and headers. We don't have the players to supply the crosses in the premier League, even though Mounie will score given the right cross. The near post Brown/Robins approach may yield more results, but then we never have anyone attacking the near post. We haven't scored enough for two seasons, so at least let's change our approach with a view to actually trying to win a game by scoring a goal or two, and not throwing it away by pathetic over-playing in 'defence.'

We were absolute fucking dog shit today. Wow that was terrible. Don't give me the 'it was worth under Wadsworth' crap. It's all relative. Today we played against a team struggling in the division below and we were absolute crap.
Something is very wrong at the moment.

Teams are happy to let us play it wide knowing we can’t cross and the full backs don’t overlap effectively, which was our main strength last year.

It's amazing isn't it. They all come crawling out of the woodwork when we lose. The doom n gloom merchants. Sprinkling their misery over everybody. It's like the highlight of the season for em..."ooooohhh every body is shit...the manager hasn't got a clue....we're going down.... You don't hear a peep from them when we win? What is it about the mentality of some people? Never happier than when complaining. Well can I just say to all you doom mongers, bedwetters and harbingers of disaster.... Shush. Leave it to Dave and Dean. I'm living the dream supporting my team in the premier league Up the fooking town😁 even all the years we were incredibly poor, I cant remember having so much of the ball for so long without doing anything at all other than pass it sideways or backwards, as the first half yesterday. Thats 'living the dream'? Nobody with any brains had any illusions about this season. We did and still do however, insist on town at least trying to win home games. This was singularly missing yesterday from the tactics and the subsequent performance from the team.. If the plan was to keep the ball for ever and get a 0-0 it didnt work.. If the plan was to draw the opposition on and speedily move it through them, it didnt work(has not worked in virtually every game).. If the plan was to bore them to death and score after they nodded off, we could not keep it going long enough.. Im supporting my team as I did in the old 4th division but ffs dont let em piss down your back and tell you its raining, its a bit insulting dont you think? Until Wagner took over we never kept the ball. A three pass move was a rarity. I remember whole halves of football where we didn't put more than two passes together!

Personally, I find overly negative posts with no balance and the ones that pop up just to criticise them equally tiresome. I'd rather debate the issues surrounding Town than getting into generalised bickering.
I am proud to say I've never used the terms such as "bedwetter" or "happy clapper". They are childish and condescending.

So if happy clapper stays, then so does bedwetter. It is a choice for the bedwetters to make!

We’ve just stopped player the style of football that got us up and the reason we started this season so well, the aggressive quick football has gone. We now seem terrified to commit in case we caught out and it’s lead to a strange hybrid where we always look cagey and in two minds.

Man U confirmed a new approach. Since then a reality has hit hard. The Wagner genius in the Championship is taking a bit longer to settle the new team, with injuries, into how to play different teams in the PL. The know-alls on here think it's easy, personally I think patience and support will see DW develop the team & varied tactics to do OK, perhaps even better with another window.

Spurs definitely changed his perspective and his approach since against the bigger sides is totally understandable, however we haven’t been able to go back to the so called terrier identity since maybe once away at Watford which was much more like a town performance under Wagner but we’ve really struggled we’ve looked lost in some games not sure if we should sit back or go on the front foot which suits us more and like I said has left us in a strange hybrid sort of style were we do neither and are sliding down the league without any sort of fight.

The "know-all's," you refer to, DW got it badly wrong against Spurs, got it right v Man U, since both those games, the performances & results have been dodgy. Despite your comments, DW has persisted with 4-2-3-1, which leaves us exposed to counter attack, yet we continue to play the failing system. We seem to be amazed when teams swamp midfield with 5 v our 2! i.e. Chelsea, Burnley & WHU, where's our next win coming from, Liverpool or Man U? - UTT.

Every 4-2-3-1 is not the same, too simplistic. E.G. I saw both WHU games & to just criticise Town is flawed, the opposition played well and had good luck. And both Stoke games, we didn't play well enough, we're weren't allowed to - especially away.
