How are season ticket sales going? Surprisingly slowly! Approaching 5000! I think most people have bought tickets for the new stadium at Liversedge instead?

I think most people have bought tickets for the new stadium at Liversedge instead? on a serious note I think the club may be slightly concerned with the low sales so far but with three weeks to go there is plenty of time for them to pick up.The offer is a good one whatever division we may be in next season but some so called fans are fickle and just jump on the bandwagon when things are going well. The club deserves backing next season just as much as this so we will see what the outcome will be they may have to increase the deadline.

Afternoon all. The audio of the interview and a shortened transcript are now available here: bit.ly/2BkFMLwA video and a Facebook live were on the cards, but unfortunately there was a bit too much background noise. Many thanks to Sean again for taking the time to speak with us. He was refreshingly honest and accommodating and it’s good to know we have people like him making the right decisions for Town.

I'm sure there's a lot like me who'll just be holding onto their £500 til the last minute, no rush and whilst it's a bargain for me and 2 kids it's still £500 to find just after xmas! Plus we're Yorkshire after all and not exactly famous for paying early!

You can tell him that Jones' pies are shite and so is the poor excuse for beer and lager served at the ground. Noted... took this up with Kudos yesterday.... have to rely on them to sort it! What did they say? (and thanks by the way!).

"The kit launch in the summer was hijacked when the retail site was hacked. Did it shock you that people were so interested and hyped in the site? Interested enough to hack the site."Clicking on Google's 'view cached' link is not 'hacking'

Plus we're Yorkshire after all and not exactly famous for paying early! I’m exactly the same. Just holding on to my money as long as possible Same here. Plus, we have to be realistic, there’s 10,000+ new folk who have joined the journey this last two years. Whilst I still don’t really understand why we got so many new last season (there was hope and a few signs, but it didn’t look like it would realistically be a promotion season). Most of those became used to watching winning aggressive attractive football every week last season, and some of those new this season will have just come along for the one off, “oooh, it’s the Premier League” ride. It’s hardly surprising that having been there and seen it (and witnessing that it’s largely quite disappointing as a product in amongst a few great highs), that not all those folks are going to stick around, especially as relegation seems more likely with every passing week and....and whilst it seems cheap to those of us who were paying £400 or more to watch 3rd and 4th tier football, a 25% increase in season ticket price will be significant enough to put a few off. I’ve had a season ticket since 1995 (and attended pretty much every game for nearly ten years prior to that) other than a couple of seasons where I did the Take 10 thing and went nomad round the ground and I must admit the journey of the last two years, in spite of its massive highs and seeing situations I never dreamed would happen, has actually turned me off the whole “going to football” thing a bit. I’d almost prefer relegation in order to get the local derbies back, the Tuesday night fixtures (the biggest flaw of the Premier League for me...maybe will be rectified if the mid season break and Qatar World Cup compress the season a bit?), and the ability to decide a week before an away fixture that I want to go! Note for any angry mobs, that says ALMOST (and note my opening sentence and what it was replying to, for anyone suggesting I go and watch Leeds or Bradford!!)

Interested enough to click on Google’s view cached link? Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it lol But you're coming at it from the wrong angle. The issue was not people getting access to unauthorised images, the issue was the staff in charge of the club's site inadvertently authorising the access to such images by not being clued up enough. The question is whether they've learnt lessons; use different names for the new images so that the cached page doesn't load them while they've got a holding page up saying 'changes in progress'... that was why people clicked on the cached link and were greeted with the new images. That said, I did quite enjoy that staff told Sean Jarvis 'they must've got in through the firewall' rather than just fronted up to their own mistakes

I was more interested in his reaction to it rather than how it came about.

I was more interested in his reaction to it rather than how it came about. But you've asked him for a reaction to an event which didn't actually happen I'd imagine his reaction to 'how did you feel about fans hacking into the megastore account to get access to the new kit images before release' would be different to 'how did you feel about your staff's oversight with regards the new kit images being inadvertently put in the public domain before release'.

How are season ticket sales going? Surprisingly slowly! Approaching 5000! Don't know why its a suprise. January's a crap time to start selling season tickets when everybody's still paying for their xmas extravagances. Expect a mad rush the last week in Feb.

Expect a mad rush the last week in Feb. And you're buying a product that you can't start using until August. I know exactly why they started selling the SC's when they did and it wasn't because they were wanting to make it easier for the fans. Predictably it would seem to have backfired.

I know exactly why they started selling the SC's when they did and it wasn't because they were wanting to make it easier for the fans. Predictably it would seem to have backfired. I would imagine 2 reasons..... 1 get cash in early to help summer transfer activity. 2 stop the usual end of season surge for the ticket office and admin teams - perhaps they may be planning a structural change to improve operations? Jan ain’t the best month to start ticket sales that’s for sure........but we have until 1 mar to buy and NOBODY in their right mind can complain at value for money in the last 2 seasons. If some don’t buy then that’s up to them........it’s been a great ride with a full ground but if a few doubters and part timers want out then so be it. I swear at times yorkshire people are the most miserable on earth.....and I include myself in that! Leeds fans can’t abide the fact their new manager isn’t a world beater ...they still expect don revie to come on a white charger and have them winning everything despite the fact they’ve been shit for years. Bradford fans aren’t having their new German owners. Sheff Wed are utterly mahoosive but bemoan players on big wages and they creep towards relegation. Etc etc etc. Is it the weather or do we just love a moan....a whinge and a dig at everything and everybody?,.,

Season ticket sales will almost definitely be down next season, If that is the case ( not sure you have any evidence for it ? ) it would be no great surprise. 1) this year was first in prem for 45 years . Huge huge excitement . Which then dissipates as we’ve seen on here 2) some fans will wait to see what league we are in . But if we stay in the premier league I think we will sell em all again . Not sure how anything has backfired .

Got mine in the first week that they became available. Obviously I'd prefer my S/C to have that PL Lion on it but if it doesn't, it's no problem. I'll still be there. I reckon a few will think differently and will hang fire right up to the last minute to see as best as possible if we might still be a PL team or are almost certainly going to be playing Championship Football next term. It will make a lot of difference to some fair weather fans and those that clambered aboard this band wagon. It's full and standing right now but if we go down, you can bet there will be plenty seats available for next seasons ride.

Many will be waiting like me till near the deadline.
