That second goal is absolute quality and you'd all be drooling if Grant scored it. Whether he has a part to play next season depends on recruitment really. On arriving at Ipswich he was quoted saying he wouldn't go on loan anywhere that wouldn't play him up top. I would be happy to see him play for us again as he's entertaining to watch whether he gets it right or not! He is a far better player than his style suggests as well. His directness would be an asset.

why though. ? Collin has more assists than our poor lot ! Because they're both shite, gutless, and not what we need. In my opinion of course. I'd much prefer us to get some fresh players in who have never been here before, and have something to prove, and can be consistently decent. It's a big season ahead, and to get to that point we need a successful, organised, planned, summer of recruitment and training and ideas. Shite and gutless.... Some more infamous posters would get slaughtered for less.

Being gutless sure as hell isn't one of them.

You are having a laugh if you think those three will rectify our goal scoring issues. VLP has pace but nothing else and Quaner is like bambi on ice most of the time. Grant needs tricky pacy players around him who can deliver a good percentage of crosses / through balls rather than once every blue moo, which those two would do. What a load of bull!

If you are putting Quaner in the category of gutless that is out of order. I haven’t read all the thread so if you don’t mean Quaner then fair enough but as much as he is labelled many things by Town fans, gutless is definitely not one of them.

He is probably one I would keep, useful squad player, the spell at Ipswich will have been good for him. He always tries and on his day can be decent but he would have to find a bit more consistency, his direct running style would be useful from the bench. One thing Collin doesn't lack is guts.

Was at Brentford vs Ipswich last night weirdly. Collin started for Ipswich and played alright, but hit the post with a 1-on-1 that he probably should've scored.
Poor lad tried 110% but was subbed at 50 minutes for someone who looked a lot worse. That Ipswich team was absolutely hopeless though, I've forgotten just how bad the bottom teams in the Championship are. Brentford didn't look so special apart from Maupay, who looks so sharp, and Said Benrahma who is a really tricky player.

Buy him while you can as his price is only going one way. Ball control is good along with his heading ability.

Super Col is and will always be a town legend. For bringing us back into one of our most important ties, the play off semi final second leg. And silencing the cauldron, (remember them using the lights on their phones...peasants).
Like him or lump him he still has the most assists for town in the PL. He probably should move on to a new club but he deserves our respect.

We already cannot do this as we have no Sporting Director / DOF - we are already months behind where we should be.... or are you saying we have a DOF ready to join? Or is Josh from row z seat 63 and our CEO all over this?

There's only two things left to hope for this season One is getting something at Liverpool to cock up their chances of winning the league. The other is a couple of Quaner goals on the final day to stop Leeds going up Super Col own goal against Sheff Utd then a last minute winner against Leeds. Half right. Shame it didn't mean more tbh.

Job done agent Quaner, over to agents Holmes & Malone. Malone to score a 30 yard last minute screamer at ER to send them out of the play offs, before getting sent off for smashing a pair of binoculars out of Bielsa's hands in celebration.

Big Col scored the same number of goals for Ipswich as Grant scored for us in the same timeframe.
Brace yourselves for us to sell the latter and announce the former as our ‘Proven Championship Goalscorer’ next season.

Brace yourselves for us to sell the latter and announce the former as our ‘Proven Championship Goalscorer’ next season. He's on fire is Col. 4 goals in his last 7 games in a struggling team. And whatever his shortcomings, he has the right attitude required to play a role next season.

Welcome back Super Col. He must be scanning the pages of DATM and wondering why no-one’s mentioned it.

He will score goals for us.. And provide assists.. He will also miss open goals.. And appear to be imitating a hyperactive baby giraffe.. Happy to have him back tho 👍
