Few rumours at our end we're in for Quaner.
We've been after a target man all summer, the manager wants somebody who's big, strong and mobile.
What's he like?

Someone should perhaps point out that he’s not a CF he’s a winger really despite his appearance. He isn’t great in the air so if that’s the intention I’d look elsewhere. However if you want an athletic, fast wide man who gives 100% every week and creates (top assists for us last year ) then he’s the man.

He has a killer first... 3 touches, no left foot and for a striker, never scored a header. He does however run strong & direct, not always in the right direction, looks the part one moment the other he drives you mad.
His cross for Wells and the subsequent Wendy OG in the away leg play offs has repaid whatever wages he's drawn since with us for which I am eternally grateful for Super Col's efforts.
However its right he moves on to get regular game time.

He's not the most technically gifted player but he's 100% committed, gets up & down the wings & will create chances out of nothing. We signed him as a striker but Wagner prefers him on the right. He's tall but not great in the air, infact the best header he has done in blue & white was when he accidentally nutted his playoff winners medal whilst celebrating. Very athletic & will run through a brick wall for the club, he can look abit like bambi on ice sometimes but when he's at it he's tough to stop. Some fans don't like him, others do, I'm somewhere in the middle.

They obviously remember that one deadly piece of finishing after the Mooy penalty miss, when he smashed in the rebound from the edge of the area to give Town a 3-2 win over them in added on time ( Good Friday 2017 ).
If anyone from PNE is looking at this, oh yes, that was just one of many sublime finishes from Big Coll we could wax lyrical about!

Or are in need of a supersub who comes on in the last 15 mins, and would single-handedly be responsible for clawing you level in an away semi final play off, which otherwise you would have lost...….Big Coll's yer man!

Oooopsie, is DATM wrecking a potential fleecing of a sale? The guy physically looks like a classical centre forward but he's not. He'll be a good wide man for you though. He's awkward and unpredictable so some of his moves come off. I saw him play centre forward in that game we lost to Burton Albion. David's last try at that one, I think.

The bloke has an annoying ability to badly control a ball and a comical first touch.
However, I like him, a lot. He is easily a good enough player for a top championship side.
Support him and understand that his first touch can be occasionally awful and you will love the rest of his play.
First touch awful - second touch straight past two players - third touch a beautifully weighted, technically perfect defence splitting pass.
If you look on YouTube he has played as a forward before coming to us and frankly looks pretty bloody good at it, however we’ve not seen him in that role.
Give him a run of games and you will get the best out of him.
Oh. Almost forgot... he is huge and looks like a Frankenstein version of boothy, but he cannot. At. all. Head a ball.

An enigma. Will do the easy things hard and the hard things easy. If you can get him for about a mill then a good signing for me

Class... Youll need to dig deep into your pockets.
Target man, class first touch, one chance and he will score, quality end product as well.
Should get at least £7M for him.

He can be brilliant and awful pretty much at the same time. He did have a purple patch of scoring for Union Berlin before he joined us; I'd imagine that if he had a period of good form he'd be good for you.

Class and a legend too good for you tbh Nick, at times you are a huge embarrassment to yourself. At some other times you are a huge embarrassment to all decent Town fans on here. This is one of those, what need was there for that comment?

He isn't a target man. He generally plays out wide. He is unconventional (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

With the experience of last year in his pocket he could really shine in a half decent Championship squad.
His technical mastery of the football and his feet lets him down at times, but he’s got a decent shift on over 15-20metres and in and around the box he does actually make a LOT of right decisions (probably a factor in how he has so many assists despite being a clown of a footballer), just doesn’t regularly get the time to execute those decisions.
Not only that, but he is a beautiful man with the sculpted face of a Marvel Superhero I could stare at and admire him for minutes. He seems like a nice fella too.
