Well what are our predictions then. Just popped into their forum Molineux Mix and they are very, very confident. Comments mainly fall in to the category of 'We should be beating the likes of Huddersfield'. I think the Wolves fans fall into the category of misplaced arrogance, on a par with Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday.
On one thread a poster said we're not a Premier League club. Oh well!
Personally I'm going for 1-1.

We look to have turned the corner in the last couple of games which should give us confidence. They're an average premier league club as the table proves so we should go there with no fear. They've picked up 4 points in their last 5 games which is the same as us. Wolves fans are an arrogant bunch so I wouldn't pay much attention to them. They have been really lucky with injuries so far with only one player out for a match or more, whereas we've been pretty unlucky with 13 injuries so far.
Don't get me wrong they are a decent side with a quality manager, after spending £100m in the summer & a huge wage budget they should be, but we've picked up points against better sides in the last couple of seasons so I see no reason we can't come away with something providing we're at it.
1-1.

wolves are pretty much in the exact same position we were at this stage last season...maybe 1 more point than we had - they seems to have bigger financial backing than us...our only problem might be raising our game for these smaller clubs....

A month ago I'd have had this down as a home banker, but they are starting to struggle after a very impressive start to the season. In contrast, we've started to get the results our general level of performance this season has merited.
Make no mistake, this is a tough game against a good side, but we are more than capable of getting a result at Molineaux - if we play well. We can't repeat the poor defensive performance we produced at Watford, but if we press from the front and put them under pressure in possession we can get at them and get a result.
Don't we have a decent recent record against them too?
I'm going so I'm hopeful of a good result to back up our good results last week. I reckon the most likely result will be a low-scoring draw. And I'd be happy with that, although I see no reason why, if we replicate our performances from the first halves against Fulham and West Ham, we can't get a first away win. I just don't want to see us sitting back like we did at the start of the second half of both those games.

Even though we have a good record at Molinuex I'd take a point. They can score goals we can't, so a draw would be fine by me.

It never ceases to amaze me that some people feel morally superior and with a grander self entitlement just because they choose to associate themselves with a club that has more fans than another

I'd take a draw. Wolves have the players to hurt us, but we struggle finding the net.
We are due a high scoring game, hopefully this will be it

0-2 Town.
Wolves fans are their clubs worst enemy this year. Polar opposite to us. They expect top half, some even European place finishes. They'll be right on the team and manager's backs when things aren't going right for them. We can go to Wolves, lose by a couple and the majority of our fans, despite the best efforts of some on here, will shrug it off and go again the next weekend in great spirits. When their results wobble, the Wolves fans will poison their own water.
We've looked good recently and they've slipped some. They have more talent than we do, but also a lot more pressure on them. We've had a tremendously difficult first quarter of the season and our success is tied to us fans sticking behind our team.
Town have nothing to lose in this game. Wolves MUST impress their supporters against lowly Huddersfield. They on the day, that will be telling. Our lads will shine and the megabucks Wolves players will wither and crumble.
0-2. Mounie and Billing. Comfortable, if not dominant Town performance.

Agree what you say re support, unless they get off to a flier, it could soon become a 'datm' type negative atmosphere, where everyone and the coach is described as being shit by half the 'supporters.

They are better than us and will have this down as a 3 point banker.
We are without Zanka and probably the player of the year (so far) on Chris Lowe.
I'd take a point.

I can't believe what some Town fans are saying on here. I'd take a point but I also wouldn't be surprised if we were comfortably beaten 3 or 4 nil.

Durm,Stankovic and Smith in for Loewe,Zanka and Flo.Not much to choose between the right backs but at least Tommy can put a decent tackle in on one of the Wolves'wingers which may slow them down a bit. I would hope to see La Parra get some game time as he would surely have to be up for it against his old club.1-2,Billing and Stankovic who becomes our leading goal scorer.

Some people choose to be positive and optimistic in life - our manager and chairman for example - rather than endlessly negative. If you were giving out the motivational speeches before a match we’d still be looking for our first point. That’s not how everyone sees it and Wolves are far from invincible.

No, I agree but they can score, we can't, they go in front and the 3 points are theirs. They’ve scored 12 in 12, hardly free scoring cavaliers. Although clearly better than us. As with most games, score first and we’ve got a good chance, concede first and we’ve got a mountain to climb.

He speeks positively enough but picks a team with only two natural attacking players in the eleven and wonders why we dont score.

We've had some good results at Molineaux last few seasons we were in same league (I recall watching Beckford getting a couple for us there in a game). They have spent big and I like their manager (if they hadnt got promoted and Wagner had moved on he'd have been on my wish list as a replacement) but we should not fear them, an away point or better is quite achievable if we play like we have recently.

That draw doubled our premier league points total on going behind.

Even though we have a good record at Molinuex I'd take a point. They can score goals we can't, so a draw would be fine by me. they're averaging one goal per game - the lowest in the top 13... it's their defence which is good, the 5th best in the PL...
