And it's is a beautiful choice.
We give unconditional support to aanager, team and setup who have taken Huddersfield town futher than I could ever had imagine when I was watching Huddersfield play Cambridge United in the 4th division in 2003.
There is not better manager around who could do more than David Wagner is doing and has done.
I say it is nonsense those threads saying let's go route 1 and play percentage football. So you not understand we did variations of that for 20odd years and got no where
Wagner with Dean Hoyle is the single best thing to happen to Huddersfield since Herbert Chapman decided to become Huddersfield manager and bring in a revolutionary new football system.
Even then I imagine wannabe experts were saying "we should go back to that 6 up front and the 2 stoppers, the WM stuff is just powderpuff. Play the percentages and hit the big man"...
The last 2 weeks have very hard, I still angry at Michael Olover but we are where we are. It's up to Town now.

It’s mad isn’t it. We’ve had in the main absolutely guff managers in my time watching Town. Now we’re in a position that we could have only dreamed of and as soon as the going gets tough we act like spoilt entitled fans, it’s embarrassing! I know not being of the same opinion makes me part of the happy clapping brigade but I’d rather that than be one of those agreeing/ even going one further with the bile than that of all the Leeds wums that like to pollute this board.

There is no choice to be made.
Dean Hoyle said that DW would be here for the season, come what may.
Other owners may speak with forked tongue. I'm rather glad that our owner isn't like the rest.

Yes the worst stupid comment ever made by a owner of a football club..Let the manager know he's un sackable...Very wise.

Even if you question the wisdom of the promise, aren't you a bit proud to know that it will be honoured? I don't know if you are suggesting that DW is currently swinging the lead, I hope not.

I'm proud that I support a club that can state that and mean it! It's another thing that marks us out as unique in this division and why we're universally disliked by the media. We do things our way!

We were promoted and maintained our status due to
1) Hoyle
2) Wagner
But also
3) Club/fans/board/players/town united as one.
Swansea, West Brom and Stoke all had better players than us but didn’t have no.3
It may not be enough this year but our best chance is to keep no.3.
Newcastle look like they’ll battle it out again under Benitez. Cardiff are United under Colin. Saints have new manager bounce. Burnley very poor but will likely keep the stability of Dyche. Palace will keep plodding on under Woy.
We’ve gotta stick together as a club, get through the Mooy injury. Hang in touch somehow. Reinforce in Jan and then go all out attack.

After a few days of thinking, ive decided to revoke my desire for wagner to be sacked. Hes had ample opportunity to fuck us off yet he hasnt. We owe him the same loyalty. I dont care if we go down so long as we go down like the dogs we are.

When have town gone all out attack under Wagner? Even when Mooy is back and we have a new striker in, we will still be playing 3 centre backs, two full backs as wing backs and struggle to score goals

We will stay up.
We have shoulders much too big after all we've been through to let being 4 point off safety in December beat us.
Dave and the lads will get us scoring and we will get out of the relegation places before the end of January.
Terrier till I die.

You do realise we’re playing against teams with better players in pretty much every week now don’t you? It’s not Oldham at home on a Saturday any more.

Wagner doesn't play in a way which produces lots of goals, he never has. We're lucky to have one man in the box nowadays. We got a play off place with 56 goals, a great achievement as I'm not sure if any other team has managed the same in the Championship He will continue to play the same way for the rest of the season. A more attacking approach is very unlikely.

Idiots like you would of happily got out of the trench marched in formation at the somme. And no, I don't want DW sacked, see my previous posts. He's the best manager we're likely to get. Its not bedwetting to appreciate that we're not good enough this time round and we haven't been the same attacking team since Bournmouth at home last season. DH isn't going to load us debt to stay up, he's going to save and make sure we're secure ans stable for years to come. So unless the current crop of players suddenly start becoming more clinical we are down.

You just called a stranger on the Internet an idiot for sticking by his team when times are hard and compared doing so to agreeing to walk to almost certain death. Give YOURSELF a slap. Ridiculously disrespectful to far more than me. Calm down and come back when you remember we're not the only set of fans afraid we're getting relegated and we can either be positive or negative. One will help the team. One won't. But I'd be ashamed as a fan if we went down by a point and I hadn't done everything I could to make any loss a draw and any draw a win.

Rare post these days Spot on - calls for his head, give me strength Where these people at Macclesfield away 0-4 December 2003? I think not! The man has turned water into wine...and some of that water was from the River Calder rather than bottled by Evian We spent nowhere near enough in the summer to address the key issues which needed addressing (2 quality attacking players needed not 3 ok / gambles, I said this in July and was slammed by the clique - you know who you you are!) Recently not many teams could survive losing 3 centre mids / 2 of their best 5 players Performances (on the whole - exc Watford / last week) have been much better than results and deserved more Michael Oliver knock on effect has been terrible But we keep going, forget tomorrow, let’s keep it respectable and then let’s go again at Fulham / Burnley Given the diabolical of the summer, 4231 has gone, so assuming we stick with playing a fluid 5311/3511 then we have to bring a centre mid given injuries, a quality striker and add a gamble. Nothing less will do Any of the attacking players bar Mounie / Pritchard can leave for me alongside that
