Let me be clear, if otium gets banned, it means i will be going with him, along with every other loyal EPBS member, that includes one of your admin staff that is secretly serving as a EPBS member. Characters make this forum what it is, and without them it crumbles. There is already a epbs forum ready to take command of. Im sure we all want whats best for datm, but measures are in place for such circumstances. One of those circumstances is a admin motion of no confidence. Stand ready, chips, sussed and 2ic otium. This some sort of new world order bullshit? What is EPBS even reference to? Sounds like a bunch if cobblers to me... |

I didn't draw the immediate inference that Oti did (though I didn't actually know they were Nigerian) - and I agree that being Nigerian (or of Nigerian decent) probably had very little (maybe even nothing) to do with their crimes. But Oti said he was being flippant and I take him at his word (for what it's worth, though I don't have a dog in the fight!) IMO it would be akin to noting that a priest with a penchant for the drink is Irish (they're not ALL priests and I've heard 1 or 2 of them don't drink  ), or that a guy arrested for threatening to brake someone's kneecaps in Northern New Jersey just happened to be Italian American (they're not ALL mobsters!)... But sometimes when someone fits a stereotype it's amusing! It's probably fair to say though that Otium's flippancy mightn't have been very obvious at the time... and he does seem to judge select communities based on their worst constituents. |

I think its called "dual heritage"...probably a hate crime phrase now so i must tiptoe through the tulips. You may not have noticed that the fake charity was set up in...yep, NIGERIA! NOT South London. Maybe you also noticed that the other two implicated outside the Sodje family had...yep, Nigerian names. If a dog is born in a stable is it a horse? White English, black Nigerian? I dont give a toss...but stealing money from people and then re-stealing it from kids charities is about as low as it gets...like 419 Nigerian scams stealing old ladies pensions. |
