I'm pretty sure Benitez has won a trophy at every club he has managed. No mean feat tbf. He may not of done everything on a shoe string at every club but they all have had their constraints. A good manager without a doubt. Good luck to the fella.

What exactly were his ambitions when within days of leaving Newcastle he takes a job at a middling club in China?
The only reason anyone leaves the top levels of european football to go to china is for the money.
As a football decision, its effectively retiring... disappearing into a backwater.
Im sure thered have been various clubs around europe who would have offered him a chance to win domestic titles and compete in europe.
But after all his incessant whinging, it seems his ambition was to basically earn himself a fortune.
