My view is probably a wee bit shallow .... but he ‘looks’ a player. If you get me.

Saw him quite early in the season away at AFC Wimbledon. From memory his passing was a bit hit and miss but he showed plenty of energy. Not fair to judge him on just that one game.

would like to hear the Bradford fans opinion on how he has been. Bilo? I'm sure Bilo has been on singing his praises He’s been great. Always works hard, gets stuck in, can run with the ball and has scored the odd screamer. I think he could do with another season in League One (with us ideally) and then he should be ready for the Championship. I don’t think he would be a starter for Town if you want to go straight back up and I think he needs games so pointless him been on the bench for you.

Fair comment, interesting about another year in league one too. Jack Payne has had two years at league 1 loan clubs now. I was quite suprised he wasnt picked up by a championship team, he featured quite abit for us in 2016 and while having some faults, generally did well at that level and that was back then.

How did he play yesterday? Well, I only watched on hesgoal, but he looked a little out of his depth. Big step-up for him. He'll get there...

He didn’t give the ball away as much as our other players. Must have been feeling confident as he blazed one high and wide from 30 yards. Tidy player but didn’t really get into our attacking play. Solid enough debut.

I thought he did well first half, kept things simple and ticking over. Tidier performance than the others in the middle for sure. Pretty much what you'd want from a debut from a young lad at that level really, he didn't take any big risks or try to be too clever.
Second half the game passed him by a bit but with the state of us in that half it's hard to knock him for that. That was when we needed the more experienced players to lead the way settling things down but, unfortunately, they didn't.

One of his biggest strengths (for us) was driving forward with the ball so hopefully he’ll show more of that the more games/confidence he gets.

I saw O’Brien play for Bradford City at AFC Wimbledon early last season and thought he was hit and miss, but he obviously improved and had a great season with BC by all accounts. He was mediocre yesterday, more miss than hit, but defensively was OK. I couldn’t really see what his role was yesterday. He’ll get more opportunities.

Thought he did alright for a young lad making his debut in a struggling team, got stuck in and made some good tackles. Needed to do a bit more on the ball but that will hopefully come with a bit more confidence and experience.
Flagged in the second half but the whole team did.

How did he play yesterday? Have you strengthened your corner flags now your skipper is up and running? 😉😁

Scannell and Vaughan stay fit then we should go up. Both too good for League Two. Big if though..
