I would just like to point out that we can only get rid of players if they are out of contract or someone else comes in for them. This was one of Sunderland's issues players with premiership wages that no one else could or would match. This should not be too much of an issue for us though.
The real point is that we have to remember that we may have more difficulty keeping the ones we would like to keep hold of than any refining of the squad to make it what we our manager would like.
I am enjoying reading the speculation, but I will wait until next season starts before I hazard a guess at what our starting eleven may/will be.

I understand this to be a 40% reduction which makes sense seeing the TV money is about to go down from around £92Million to I think £55-60Million first year parachute payment (60% of that years TV money).
