Has anyone done the maths and worked out when the rose tinted specs come off and we are officially relegated ? (Which will then allow us to play without any fear and with an eye to the future in what will be a better league with more excitement and something to look forward to instead of a thraping every week)

We are currently 13 points adrift of Southampton, so if we pick up no more points, at best we make it to the Spurs away game.
Obviously it can all change depending on how many more points we pick up and Southampton, Burnley etc. I would expect it to be at Spurs or home to Watford the week after that it gets confirmed.

Your username is not just a witty quip is it? 😂😂 and yours isn't? When me and my old man went to watch Town at Leeds Rd I remember one thing he said which stuck in my head, for some random reason, ‘let’s see what Joey has in his locker today’. It was just a passing comment but one I remember.

We’re not the lowest points of all time. Finishing second bottom is now the next target.

I'm hoping that we can burst the celebratory atmosphere at the new WHL in their first game there...
A draw takes us down will be the optimum tepid result...

We were relegated last summer, it's just it wasn't obvious at the time. Looking back we'll see that's the case
Plus Wagner's bizarre stubbornness to not play players he signed, because apparently he has final say on signings.

You'll get pelters for having an opinion like that. You're right though.

You'll get pelters for having an opinion like that. You're right though. What that basically means is we’re going down because of Wagner, which isn’t exactly wrong. But there’s a lot more to it, I wouldn’t say you’d get pelters for that but more a case of peoples perspective that the two seasons before we achieved success we’d of thought impossible.

I thought David Wagner's reign was the best thing to happen to HTAFC since the Buxton era. But I think if he'd thrown the towel in two months earlier than he did, we'd have still been scrapping it out to avoid relegation..

Watford at home would be ironic given that when Ince scored that late winner last season it secured safety - although we didn't know for certain at the time.
