Ivan cavaliero would be a wonderful signing for us, I can’t see it happening if other prem clubs are interested but that is the kind of player we need to be pushing up That table next season. If the take over at Newcastle goes through would he make the team would of thought they would be aiming higher. PS. can we afford his wages.

I don't know what the recruitment team were playing at last summer because every wide player we were linked to flopped. Elyounoussi.. 16 appearances. Zero goals. Zero assists. Traore.. 29 appearances. 1 goal. 1 assist. Limbombe.. 29 appearances. 1 goal. 1 assist. Roberts.. 19 appearances. Zero goals. Zero assists. Cavaleiro.. 23 appearances. 3 goals. 1 assist. Diakhaby.. 12 appearances. Zero goals. Zero assists. Mbenza.. 22 appearances. 1 goal. 1 assist. 6 goals & 4 assists between them in 150 appearances. WOW!! How come Diakhaby doesn't get the assist now Grant's been given the Arsenal goal ? I'm not 100% but I presume it's because Diakhabys shot was saved which was eventually bundled in by Grant?

With the possiblity of Smith, Schindler, Kongolo, Mooy, Zanka, Billing, Mounie all going, I don't think that this is altogether a disaster. The caveat being we get decent transfer fees for them. No one likes change, but football is more about change than many other businesses. It is part of the game - one minute a player is a "hero*", and the next he is someone else's "hero".
The reason that I'm not too bothered to see these players go is that there is a stigma attached to them as being in one of the worst sides in PL history. I don't want this attitude/lack of confidence to carry into next season. It may be that wholesale change is what is required. Replacing serial losers, with others who are familiar with winning, is probably a reasonable plan for next season.
*I use this word pejoratively - hard to compare a football "hero", with the heros who landed in Normandy in 1944!

didn't say he was universally disliked, suggested his behaviour seems toxic. Can't divulge the source, but is someone I trust, who loves Town more than most, and had access to the first team. Apparently regularly turning up late for training, and regularly worse for wear after a night out, with a don't give a damn attitude. Quite meaty rumours you are spreading there. Personally, I wouldn’t write things like this unless i was 100% sure. 1. You're not me 2. I'm sure enough - check my history - I almost never post stuff claiming to be ITK as I'm rarely in the position to.

Schindler's not going anywhere. Kongolo will only go if we make our money back. Mooy will only go for an impressive fee. Everyone needs to learn some patience. Go and do some mindful colouring or something. On another note, having heard yesterday from a very realisable source about Billing's behaviour at the club this season I hope we get rid quickly, with a decent fee, and then predict he will fade into obscurity. I hope I'm wrong as I maintain he has all the attributes needed to be a top player, but it sounds like he's a shithouse behind the scenes. Surprised you say " go and do some mindful colouring " before publically lambasting a player via unsubstantiated rumour .. having said that I think you are probably right .. but I also think schindler will be offski 1. The mindful colouring comment was for all the drama llamas who are convinced the club is fucked, the training ground is canned, every man and his dig is leaving and Martin Crainie is the new messiah. 2. Not unsubstantiated for me, I just can't/won't reveal my source as their position could become very uncomfortable.

On the flip side they've just spent 2 seasons pitting their wits against genuine world class players and teams week in, week out and on the whole given a reasonable and sometimes good account of themselves (individually at least). That should give them huge confidence going into the championship season, a lot of them know all about the championship and should be relishing it, many will return better players. The worry for me is that no matter how good the individual is, the team has to be right or else everyone suffers and that confidence can soon evaporate. Its up to Jan to make sure the team is setup right from game one, if it is then I don't think the losing mentality will be an issue and if anything it should give them the required fire in their bellies. They've tasted losing so many times this last season that winning games again will be all the more sweet (as it will for us fans ).

The guy is a data and analyse specialist pursuing a different approach to recruiting. I think this is a pathetic route for the club to go down. What more research do you want me to do? Don't come crying on here when our inspired signings land at canalside before our first game and you all are disillusioned. The only morons are those who believe this is a good idea 💡 You better have a word with the Man City recruitment team if this is a waste of time

Leeds going after Helder Costa at Leeds. Hope that is the standard we're looking at as well.. I hope Leeds are paying themselves at least £10m for him.

Leeds going after Helder Costa at WOLVES. Hope that is the standard we're looking at as well.. Wolves fans don't seem to rate him, he did OK in his first season scoring 10 from mainly an up top position whilst on loan in the Championship. Only scored 5 the year they went up and hardly really featured as a starter this season.

Is this the same 'source' that claims they're in for James Rodriguez aswell? It's just some bloke from the Yorkshire Evening Post. Leeds fans demand to be linked with high calibre players to feed their ego. There will be no substance in it whatsoever but the Leeds evening Post know they have to throw some fruit to the chimps to stop them trashing their enclosure and hurling their shit at people.

1. You're not me 2. I'm sure enough - check my history - I almost never post stuff claiming to be ITK as I'm rarely in the position to. Its well documented on here.. From multiple sources.. Billing has been a 1st rate flange panda. The sooner we get rid the better. We need grafters this season.. Not ponsy show ponies.. I'm going to defend Phil Billing. To begin: Firstly he has clearly been a 'disgrace' as Dean Hoyle described such players at the Q&A since Siewert came in. Clearly a personality, player/manager clash and has pretty much stated he stopped trying. Secondly David Wagner said he had it all, he just needed to understand the dedication and aggression needed to take him to the top. It was clear from pres-season the penny had dropped for Billing and for the first 3rd of the season he was consistently excellent. So my defense of Phil Billing. I've met him twice and both times he gave all his time to everyone, was very decent and a really good lad. One time sticks out most, I had a ticket in the North Stand (family stand) and he wasn't playing that day. Yet he was simply around in the open area by the stand, not looking for attention just there, probably waiting for the game to start. People recgonised him, families and people started to come up for a chat and photo's. Again without coming across as a 'big time charlie' he gave everyone time, photos and interactions. He was simply a really nice lad. It was similar on the second occasion I met him. On his twitter feed he has "Don't confuse my personality with my attitude. My personality is who I am. My attitude depends on who you are" ... And I think that sums him up and also sums up what has gone wrong at Town with him and Siewert. Straight up, he is a decent lad but will simply kick back if you go in shouting at him. I've met many people like this. If the coach has a conversation with him ( a joint thing) and Phil gets/understands why he would be being asked to do something then I think you get 100% + more from him. I think that is what Wagner got from him, whereas Siewerts shock-therapy (not that the squad didn't need kick up the arse) got the opposite effect from Phil. I don't think he is high-maintenance. I just think he has also had some poor advice over the last 6 months. Good luck to him as he has the ability to be one hell of a player if he wants to be. I expect him to leave in the summer.

As I have previously stated Billings problems are his family, principally his stepfather and his agent, He has just had to much crap advice, apparently he is a really nice lad.
