I hope we take a punt on Ivan cavaleiro from wolves the lad is class at this level and can play anywhere across the front 3. If a rival manages to get him they have bought themself a gem at this level Agreed, but because of our new wage structure it's the sort of deal that we're going to struggle with. A fact that gets forgotten a lot. Cue the....Two years in the Premier League.... |

Have said it before cod but if we’re ever going to spend some dosh, it’s this summer. However, unless we move some of our better players on, I genuinely do not see us spending much at all. I’m not expecting any “marquee” signings as it stands. On the other hand, I understand there are no clubs awash with money in the Championship presently so will at least be more of an even playing field next time out, very much unlike last season. |

However, unless we move some of our better players on, I genuinely do not see us spending much at all. I’m not expecting any “marquee” signings as it stands. On the other hand, I understand there are no clubs awash with money in the Championship presently so will at least be more of an even playing field next time out, very much unlike last season. Some of our better players will undoubtedly move on. Spending dosh will happen, however what will limit the spend is our wage structure, regardless of who leaves and whatever transfer fees we receive. |

Definitely going to go to a game next season. I drove up to the top of Nailsworth to have a look at it. I see the plans have now been passed for the new stadium, which looks smart. New stadium does look epic, only 5,000 capacity with the ability to expand to 10,000, but I suppose they have the smallest population of any league club, under 5,000 for the whole town I think I read. Shame. But I understand why. And also, 10,000 capacity in the Championship isn’t enough, and with only 5,800 in the whole town (I think) it doesn’t make much sense to even have a 10,000 stadium. See how they do this season. |
