16 years since Leeds last played in the Premier league or as their fans still like to call it 'The Premiership' would be nice if we could give them a round of applause on the 16th minute in the derby game next season just to show them our appreciation for how shit they are.

How about putting scarves on their seats with 16 printed on them to commemorate this marvelous achievement

Derby fans ....
‘Take your scarves and fuck off home’ ......
Like!
Also the 16th minute applause is a top idea. Fans of every championship club should adopt this home and away.
Not a social media user myself but surely one of you could get the ball rolling for this beautiful piss take.

How about we stop wetting our pants over Leeds, they lost, we take momentary pleasure in it but it's done with now.

You've spent most of the season wetting your pants over Leeds & just about every other team that isn't HTAFC so what's the difference? Only the other week you were rimming a Leeds WUM on here.. "You lads have definitely got one foot in the premier league now mate." Jesus 🤮

Said to my Leeds supporting "mate" there are now fully grown adults who don't remember Leeds being in the Premier Lge. Yes, this is a point i very much enjoy mentioning to Leeds fans I know. The are reams of evidence which shows a child chooses/connects or forms an allegiance with a sporting club around the age of 7 (well 7-9yrs old). That's why Huddersfield and virtually every club does those special promotions when someone turns 7. Huddersfield do the full experience, free ticket, free top, a tour, meet the players etc (I think?). All to form that 'hook' to hopefully catch a future supporter. So 16 + 7 years means a person is now 23 to have been the last group to have been getting into football and think of Leeds as a Premier League club. That favorite target audience of 18-24 never think of Leeds as a big club. Only 30+ presenters on radio and TV think of Leeds this way. Around the world (all those south East Asian,Chinese,USA consumers), only know the Manchester clubs, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs (just), Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern Munich, Juve and AC Milan, Inter and now PSG. Leeds are light years behind any of these. One final thing, there is no denying Leeds have an inbuilt advantage of being a one club city, and one of the largest cities at that.

How about we stop wetting our pants over Leeds, they lost, we take momentary pleasure in it but it's done with now. So what’s the cut off point? When do we stop revelling in their beautiful implosion? If they had won they would be trawling over this board like flies round shit. If we can’t enjoy this for a couple of days then what’s the point? Its football, it’s what it’s all about, being happy with our own victories and taking pleasure in rivals demise, it’s full on schadenfreude. I have not had as much pleasure watching a football game for ages, I don’t give a shit if anyone says I’m obsessed, i’m not. I’ve just watched the biggest set of arseholes get knocked out in their own back yard and really, really enjoyed it.

Its weird that Leeds are even regarded by some as some kind of stellar 'premier division club' struggling to take their rightful place with the big guns.
Ive been watching Town since 79/80 and in the 41 seasons since ( including next season ) Leeds will have spent 17 in the top flight and 24 out of it. Theyre a Championship club to me. One that has the odd spell in the top flight every so often, much like Birmingham.

I’ve got a couple of good mates who support Leeds ( on the telly)one of them couldn’t be more respectful when it comes to town. He even meets us for a pint in town after our home games but keeps his head down and doesn’t take the piss especially after the season we’ve just had. The other has been giving a constant stream of abuse all season to the point where it just isn’t funny and I wouldn’t want him anywhere near me after a town game. Well I don’t care if it’s childish but I’m having a full summer laughing at him to the point where I think he’ll delete my number Utt

So spend your time reading the other threads and ignore this one. It’s not difficult. Anyway, you’ll no doubt find plenty to moan about during the close season, pre-season and all next season so have a little rest now and leave the rest of us childish, obsessed, Leeds-hating saddoes to revel in the absolute car crash that has just unfolded so wonderfully. Thanks👍

Give over. Virtually everybody connected with that club is an absolute wanker and it's right to celebrate their fuck ups, of which we've had a double whammy in the last few weeks. Easily our biggest games of the season next year and why wouldn't we want that. Those old enough to remember the Revie era will remember that him and his team invented cheating and gamesmanship and it's endemic in their culture to this day. The 2 biggest controversies in the Championship this season have both involved Leeds (Spygate and Villa at home). The most hated team in the history of English football and deserve everything they get. Fuck em.

Its been a long tortuous season. You have to get your laughs where you can and thankfully we can rely on our West Yorkshire neighbours, both of them, to provide a few.
