so he refuses to play in the championship so he can play in the stiffs at everton. seems a weird choice to me. i presume everton pay their reserves more than we'd pay a first teamer. Cos of his age, I doubt he'll even play for the stiffs that much. He could sign a 3 year deal with everton and barely play a game in all that time. You could right there. I guess money talks. Its no wonder its called the greedy league. For me it literally is sheer greed. Cant tell me, even in the championship with town he wouldn't we earning a fortune. Money that the average fan could only dream of. Anyway fuck him. Not the type of guy you need when the going gets tough |

Not sure why some are so surprised at this. Jonas Lossl is a bloody good keeper and a more than adequate backup keeper for a club like Everton. agree entirely with you. if it happens great move for him and best of luck |

I dont begrudge anyone talking money that idiots with more of it than sense want to give away.. he wont get a start there unless the first 2 keepers are out but the fact he is at a premier club means he will get a decent amount in a contract when he ends up somewhere in a lower league, to finish his career as a player.. average keeper, often a good close in shot stopper, often oddly poor with longer efforts and often quite crap with 'playing it out'.. 3rd choice at a premier club is good enough.. |

As far as being 'a money grabbing git' goes he's a professional not a local amateur league player at the Dog and Duck. At his age a three year contract at a Premier League club is probably his last chance of big pay days. Good luck to him and his family. |

He’s experienced, an international, and vs Pickford 4 inches taller, better in the air, made less direct mistakes last season, good on the ball (had a better passing success rate 61% v 56%, better pass success rate long 46% v 37%)
