It would be interesting to see the expected goals stats for Mounie and Grant, anybody got access to those?

There's a big difference between big chance missed and big chance saved. There's also a big difference between chance and has to score. The couple of chances I remember Grant missing were on target saved by keepers. I can only think of 2 though. The big ones Mounie missed were mostly sitters which he put wide. He missed an absolute sitter against Wolves at home which resulted in Mounié poking the ball home. The other two I remember weren't ones where he has to score, but were rather tame efforts at the keeper when through on goal from a slight angle. Not having a pop at Grant as he was a rare positive in a season of despair. Equally, I don't see the 25 goal a season striker that some of our fans seem to be convinced he'll turn into in the Championship. Time will tell though. I think that both he and Mounié 'could' do very well for us next season. However, a third option is definitely needed. That absolute sitter, which it wasn't but was a very good chance, was also saved. I don't remember the tame efforts, I remember decent strikes being saved with legs that he probably should have done better with. Mounie's off the top of my head against Chelsea home, Palace home, Leicester home and Spurs away, and I know I've missed some here, all missed the target when he had to score them all.

Having seen those stats after some games, I'm not sure they're worth the paper they're written on. They never seem to make any sense or tie up with what's actually happened. Mounie's is 5.63, scored 2. Grant's is 3.28, scored 4.

The worst was at anfield when he simply stopped running happened???

When he scored those 2 goals at Palace I thought he was great, but he's not improved..in fact he's definitely gone backwards...his awareness and anticipation seem non existant , probably because he's lost his enthusiasm. His running style is a bit languid (bit like Boothy's was) but I'm more concerned that he's lost that ability to be in the right place at the right time...

But woeful conversion.
