Then private Family Committal at Huddersfield Crematorium

Some more detailed information on scoffas funeral, as posted on Facebook by his daughter - Brooke.
Many of you may already have seen funeral details posted via the Huddersfield examiner & can find further details using the below link.
We have decided on an open funeral due to the amount of love received throughout the past week, and would like you to help us light up the Town in celebrating our Dads life.
Below is some structure regarding the Funeral taking place on SATURDAY 22nd JUNE 2019.
💙 Meet at the Huddersfield Town Football Club from 9 am where we will bring Dad one last time. I urge all Millbridge and those part of NSL come together & chant louder than ever (this does not exclude any other town fans and friends)
⚪️ The club have kindly offered to open up St Andrews Car Park where everyone is welcome to park their cars and keep them there over night (exit can be made via stadium way at any point)
💙 We have hired 2 coaches seating 100 people which will make the journey too and from the service at St Mary’s Church- Mirfield (again anyone is welcome, however we ask our immediate family and close friends are seated first)
⚪️ Service at St Mary’s will begin at 10 am until 11.30 am
💙 Following will be a private committal at Huddersfield Crematorium for family and very close friends
⚪️ After Please make your way to Huddersfield Town Centre as we aim to light up the town one last time in honour of our dad!
💙 Celebrations at Revolucion De Cuba (Huddersfield Cross Church Street) will begin from 1 pm in which we will have welcome drinks reception and Buffet (other bars have been notified if you choose to continue into the night and have a drink on David Scholefield)
Let’s us party, Karamu, Fiesta forever for this very very special Man, Please share among the many as we stand together one last time in honour of Dad.

That's a heart warming post Mel - lovely from his Daughter & the last word says it all, he was her Dad, first & foremost... Hope you all have a cracking do, last wake I went to with this sort of vibe I just dropped & slept at the side of my bed, in my suit. My early train to London the next day was very, very, very, very late... I'm sure you'll do him & his family proud...   |

My early train to London the next day was very, very, very, very late... I'm sure you'll do him & his family proud... I've not met his daughter mate, although I was messaging her last weekend as we drove back from Spain, trying to arrange to visit Scoffa. She was just as sincere in her messages as she is in that post, I think all of Scoffas kids have being unbelievably strong in the last few weeks. I went through a similar thing with my mum when I was in my early 20's so I know the hurt 1st hand. Just one thing left to do now, and that's give Scoffa the best send off ever witnessed on the streets of Huddersfield. |

I didn’t know him but blimey I wish I did-the next generations of his family have so much to be proud of.He is obviously going to receive one of the send offs of all time.RIP
