Just wondering if there's a chance that we can have a thread, possibly this one, to periodically summarise the transfers that have been confirmed this summer. No ongoing debate, just a note to say 'x' has signed, 'x' has left etc.
The summer transfer thread is a bit unwieldy & that fast moving just now that I can't work out who we've signed, released, or who we're supposedly interested in. There does seem to be some concrete in some of the posts but unfortunately it's probably just 1% & the other 99% of the thread is idle speculation and repeating circular debates about Tom Ince etc.
My brain needs simplicity, don't shoot me down for it...

Did we actually get a fee for Lowe? I never saw it mentioned, although by rights we should've given under contract.

At least we certainly had a good one there and he definitely earned his wages here at Town .Would have liked to have kept him but can't blame him wanting home .

Not sure if it's what you're asking for but I've been compiling updates of players on the books, first team players that were released, outgoings, incomings, and rumored links. The updates from the prior week are bolded for those that don't want to go through the mammoth that is the transfer thread. Can't claim all the info is 100% accurate but try my best. I tend to update these on Sunday nights. In busy weeks, like this, that makes the info outdated by mid-week. If anyone would like to assist with updates let me know and I'll give you permissions in Google docs. It's fairly time intensive to update everything and I just don't have the desire to do that more than once a week. I've cleaned this thread up, removed Nick's bullshit and replies/references to it. This thread could be useful, let's keep it this way.

You've removed my reasonable, factually-correct comment.....not clear why.

Thanks to OP for generating this. Original transfer thread - 100 pages of which 90 must be meaningless speculation, arguments about players who don't play for us anymore and ITK pissing contests. Think I will just stick with this from now.

Ok folks - thought I'd post a list of the squad as it stands today and update whenever it changes, as I keep forgetting that we have some players... I've asterisked the English/Home Grown players. I've included the youngsters that made their debuts last season or those who are widely expected to supplement the squad next year.
Goalkeepers
Joel Coleman* Ben Hamer* Ryan Schofield*
Central Defenders
Tommy Elphick* Mathias Jørgensen Terence Kongolo (can also play LB) Christopher Schindler Jon Gorenc Stanković (also DM)
Full backs
Florent Hadergjonaj Tommy Smith* Demeaco Duhaney* Jaden Brown*
Central Midfielders Juninho Bacuna Philip Billing* Reece Brown* Jonathan Hogg* Aaron Mooy* Abdelhamid Sabiri Matty Daly* Lewis O'Brien*
Attacking midfielders/wingers
Alex Pritchard* Ramadan Sobhi Rajiv van La Parra Adama Diakhaby Elias Kachunga Isaac Mbenza
Strikers
Karlan Grant* Josh Koroma* Steve Mounié Collin Quaner (included as a striker as this is where he played for Ipswich last season as far as I know)
I think when you actually look at the squad as is we have every reason to be optimistic, with the caveat that we need a first choice keeper, and we need to replace key players with established championship quality if they go.
This list is 29 players, with roughly half being English (plus Mooy who qualifies as home grown, as does Billing)
I'm going to unlock the thread purely for discussion of confirmed transfers and the state of the squadf as it stands but if it descends into rabid unfounded speculation will lock it again and clean it up - if you want to discuss transfers that may or may not happen use the dedicated thread.

Could you argue that Rekeil Pyke should be included in this list? Had a few loans at league one and two level I think and certainly got more first team experience than say Jaden Brown at that level.

I think what we ought to do now with this thread is to leave it clear for confirmed signings only. We can put all the rumour and other transfer rubbish on the Summer transfer thread. This will be to the benefit of all.
Thanks.

Are we doing outgoings on here too?
If so, Ramalamadingdong Sobhi has gone back to Al Ahly, unfortunately just on loan.
My condolences to Nick.
