How insecure can a person be to brag about themself on social media. Otium it's over to you. Bragging is not always a sign of insecurity in the same way that a brown stain on the seat of your pants is not always a follow through.

We can all wish. I’m guessing you don’t have your Level 1 badge never mind the Level 4+ required to manage a professional team?! I wish I could become a heart surgeon and bring some positive change to people’s life’s. How hard can it be...I’m as well qualified for it as you are at being able to be a professional football manager ?! 🤣 not a dig...but I bet we all wish we were football managers,..it’s always seemed an incredibly easy, inordinately well paid job to me! Chapman, Shankly. Clough, Nicholson did they have coaching badges? Crock of shit. Ferguson only did them because of pressure and the coming rules....he was not even coaching at that stage. Like most things in life you can either do it or you cannot. The manager at top level is an irrelevance. Its money. A wily, driven man with an eye could take North Ferriby to the top of the Conference. I agree. However, you’re not allowed to do it...so go and earn the qualification if you want to have a chance to live out your wish. They’re not difficult, I expect there’s plenty on here who have Level 1 and 2, and maybe a few level 4...just require a bit of actual dedication and effort rather than dreaming about something currently unattainable. Whilst I’m of the opinion that the badges aren’t really needed, what I found is they do open you up to other ways of working and appreciating emerging methods etc, Maybe Ferguson could have been a BETTER manager...he had a pretty easy job, Clough had more “managing” to do, but could definitely have been a better manager, that missing bit of formal training might have given him that boost.

I have done many meaningless courses in my life that were just a requirement. People start businesses and families without any. In fact trump required none to become the most powerful man in the world. Its a money-maker. At 57 and short on time i dont have 6 years to get Stalybridge in to the Football league....as much as i believe i could.

I know the bloke who runs the NASA football (soccer) team. He says he'll only take you on if you also have some other skills, like being able to deep drill into rogue asteroids etc. Plus he's waiting for a call back from the coach of the Martian XI, who he's offered a game on the moon. I think the Martian boss might have called back, but it takes a while for the return path... I want Martin Alien as my assistant. Apollo Creed as fitness coach Alfie Moon as kitman Venus Williams as masseuse Freddie Mercury driving the coach. (Yes, I’m aware that he’s not available, but there’s more chance of this happening than Oti managing in the Prem...)
