Maybe this is just a 'hawkeye' thing, because VAR looks at replays of the ACTUAL footage.....but just watching the tennis, and a line-call was questioned where the ball had landed on one of the 'T' junctions (where 2 lines cross). I could see the ball had landed, clearly on the LEFT of the 'T' (and I checked this be replaying the TV several times = deffo LEFT!) BUT, when 'Hawkeye' showed us the 'path of the ball'....the 'depth' appeared fine, it was ON the line... ...but it showed the ball on the RIGHT of the 'T' !! ....so, how 'accurate' IS Hawkeye, really Does anyone re-check Hawkeye footage with the actual TV footage?? After what I have just seen....I'm definitely SCEPTICAL about Hawkeye !!

Line calls should be correct 100% of the time, however it does need to be setup correctly in the first place - otherwise it will be wrong!

I think the amount of money kicking around in these things now, the parameters will have been tested to death, however there will be a tolerance to some degree, but probably one that all parties are happy with. They may dilute the view for the public & to keep sharper edges intentionally blurred. Probably more so nowadays with all the various flavours of high def TV. Or it could just be those mirrored sunglasses you're wearing?
