Do people actually think it’s ok to strip the club of cash by using othe parachute payments to fund a takeover, fuck my life some people are stupid! I think you are the stupid one. I'm not saying it has happened, but if Hoyle had pad the club over in exchange for some instalment payments from the parachute payment, he's only taking back what he put in to the club in the first place. Hes invested around £50m to get us in the Prem. If the club is now worth £80 with £100m of parachute payments due, why should he not take some of that money? PH then takes over the club without actually paying anything, but can invest a he sees fit just as Dean Did. So Hodgkinson gets the club for free and can then sell it on for a decent sum. Doubt it somehow

I would say that if parachute money has been used to fund the purchase of the club it has everything to do with us as fans. That money is supposed to be there to safeguard the future of the club not to pay off an outgoing chairman. As custodians of the club we are ultimately the ones shafted when we end up skint because of such dealings The monies we get from all sources will end up in the same pot and some will probably pay off some of a debts the club owes.

I think he's looked at Companies House and seen that Town are a Private Limited Company and assumed that the abbreviation for that is PLC 😂😂

Doubt it somehow That's probably down to DH and any conditions of sale. The club owes him £50m+ of he passes it on for nothing is up to him. If he takes £50m out of it before he does so, he's entitled to do so. But then PH takes over with a clean slate, will likely have to put some of his own money in just as DH did.

I'd like to know the cost price of the pies and how much I'm having to pay above that.

I think we're entitled to know whether it's a leveraged deal using the club's income to fund the takeover.
I'd like to see transparency on the source of the funds used to buy the club, assuming it's not a leveraged deal. We may all trust DH and he picked PH to buy the club, but the spectre of Ken Davy with £2 for 40% of KSDL is still too fresh in my mind. However as long as PH confirms it's not a leveraged deal, I'll be happy.
