I don't mind either. If the shirt is for real I hate that but the likely PR stunt/joke is fine with me.

Life is fine, the PR gag is great, maybe the view on turbo dog wasn’t clear from my wording and avatar pic?
Maybe social media/online forums isn’t for you?...

I am just curious how someone can be so furious over a terrier logo 1. Show me ANY form of Terrier it resembles, Yorkshire or otherwise... I’ll wait. 2. The previous logo was fine and just needed the cartoon eyes sorting from some of the 80s graphics but was fine in other versions 3. You spend 31 years of your life supporting a club, a cause, a way of life, only for them to vandalise the very thing that epitomises the very essence and identity of said club, cause and way of life. This has made me feel disengaged. 4. Visually, it looks shit. (my opinion only of course and we all know the saying) 5. It causes bickering like this when we should all be on the same side. You will of course argue it’s me banging on about it, I will argue if it wasn’t changed without any consultation to an inferior design, all this would be academic. 6. Changing the Terrier goes against our whole ethos of engagement and supporter relationships. I wouldn’t expect fan engagement on every single decision, but something as key as the club name, club home, club (home) colours and the badge are fundamentals you just do not mess about with (location can be forced or natural). 7. Some people clearly care more passionately about our image and our outward perception than others, who clearly are happy with any old shite. Thanks, that is all.

You come on Down at the Mac for meaningful debate and insightful discussion!? Here's the original 'Town Badge' Yes, beautiful original . Not sure how it’s relevant (to my gripe at least)? Someone else has stated the Terrier is facing the wrong way, I think (crap Terrier or not) it’s facing the correct way. What I do think though is the gap now between the aura-boa whispy leaf things now looks stupid and disproportionate on one side now the Terrier is no longer centred and has a massive stupid gap on one side... vandalised.

Aha nay bother, thought as much... but you make a good point re the original and direction the ram was facing. I’d sooner have that than one with an unidentifiable creature on top.

I love it when people say "I'll wait". I'm fairly certain there's a Leeds fan dead at his keyboard somewhere, still hoping for for me to give him our full away attendance figures for the 07/08 season.

Happy to be called old but not happy to be told I don’t embrace change.

I am sure the original HTFC coat of arms was something to do with the Ramsden family as we bought the land for the stadium from the Ramsden’s. I know a lad who’s a big town fan called Ramsden he keeps telling me the above fact proudly ( not sure if this is true)

Where is the "neither" option? one is to drum up some media coverage and one is just a drawing of a dog on a badge. It's still a dog, just not as wet and wimpy looking. Will it have any effect on the way we play? zero.

When i first started watching Town, the Bukta shirt was all blue with two white stripes down the sleeves and just "HTAFC" in a a fancy font, no , I still like it although it's tarnished with us being really shite at the time. Just saying.

Think the real kit will be unveiled on Saturday in front of quite a few tabloids and cameras and it wouldn’t surprise me if we had a different sponsor to Paddy Power and that this is all just a publicity stunt for both them and us. If this is the real kit then so be it. I’m not a fan but it’ll get us plenty of coverage around the world and especially at home both on tv and the internet.
What I’m more bothered about is the squashed up dog we have on the new badge. Give me the old badge any day as this new one is just wrong in so many ways.

I have never liked the Terrier nickname, it was imposed on us, we should just be TOWN......but id sooner have the new 21st century dog graphics if we are to put up with the bleeding dog at all...
