So he does have a right foot! Maybe that will give him a bit more confidence in it at times, it's probably the one real weakness he has defensively. Often when you watch stuff on TV or even at matches it doesn't quite come across just how hard pros can strike a ball. Angles like that make you wonder why anyone would be a keeper  |

Now iam sure you have far more football knowledge than me, Which I am happy to bow down to, but to suggest we wouldn't do it or even try it when it's worked before and I would suggest kongolo is a better footballer than heff ever was is simply daft. |

Don't get me wrong, at this level he is still probably a very good LB, just not necessarily as a modern attacking one. I can imagine being proved wrong and quickly! Diakhaby can't use his right at all, which is why he even runs the ball out of play. I suspect we're going to see the sublime and ridiculous from him. |

Yeah, I think his weakness that way will be more than mitigated by being a level lower but we'll probably still see the odd awkward moment here and there. I kind of feel he's wasted at left-back but at the same time, those odd times where he goes with the wrong foot or ties himself in knots would probably be more costly in the middle. Still can't get over the fact that we might be lining up in this division with a player of his quality though! Diakhaby's a funny one, he had one or two flashes of utterly brilliant skill last year on a level I didn't think I'd ever see from someone playing for Town. But that really just amounts to maybe ten seconds of his career here so far and they were generally followed up by a horrible touch or pass that let the whole thing down  . Genuinely have no idea what to expect from him but if he can get some confidence and work on his positional sense defenders will be terrified. Could end up as a bit of a Bolasie type maybe. |

See if you would have just posted that reply in the first place instead of the previous one it makes you look like a better poster and then we can have a propa debate on the subject, it would then not result in posters like me contacting admin to request that you and chips are banned for a period of time, for personally insulting other posters, been argumentive and the abuse that Nick receives is borderline online bullying, as I've said if you don't like what he writes don't reply, but you take it upon yourself to insult and reply to him so it makes you twice as bad as anything he posts. I don't mind or will hide from the fact in saying ie reported both you and chips and hope the admin team is strong enough to ban the pair of ya. |
