While I am famous for a poor memory bank, and much to lazy to troll back thru old news, but I seem to recall a figure between 3 - 5M as the costs of required upgrades. Main work was on the TV gantry I guess? Then press room Dugouts Floodlighting tweaks Floating segregation in SS. Possibly purchase of pitch 'false' lighting....I know we were using these late in Championship season, but I'd imagine that was a hire. White seats that sat in storage.
I can envisage a tidy sum there of £3-£5m as quoted, but £15m is taking the piddle.
Those floodlight tweaks were brand new gantrys (4) and associated lamps. Add onto that the extra commentary box. A hell of a lot of work and expense went into the cabling inside and outside the stadium. That doesn't mean I disagree with your figures, I haven't a clue what it adds up to.

Info I received is that Stoke paid under £3mill for Smith, approx £2.7 apparently. Stoke have 5 players who cost nearly £80 mill on contracts still to run 2/3 years on Premiership wages training with the juniors. (Wimmer from Spurs £18 million)

I think Billing will be gone in the next 72hrs for around £15Million+25% sell on. Smith went for £4Milliion. Zanka will be gone and I anticipate for around £4 to £5Million. I accept Hodgkinson saying that the books have been balanced under Hoyle so that there isn't a huge pile of money, everything is covered and the value of the team is much higher than when we went up. He also said it didn't mean that we didn't have a transfer budget (sorry for the double negative). I'd estimate we will have around £20-25Million available if required in January or for next summer. If Mooy or Konogolo did leave, the money would be added to the budget. It feels we are in a good position for the the coming season. .... hmmm
