It all sounds like everything will be completed today judging by news from the south coast. We have 10 days, I'd imagining we are already putting things in motion for a new #terrierinbound over the next week. I suspect Zanka will be gone too, but only at the end of the window. All the stories point to being the Turkish clubs, Fenerbache or Istanbul BB. That leaves just leaves Sabiri. Sabiri has been a very frustrating signing. Clearly the lad has great promise and has shown flashes of what he could do, but had never managed to get a foothold in the first team and when his opportunity came last season a) he got injured within minutes and b) once fit again, assumedly didn't impress Jan in either attitude or ability.
A bit like Williams sank all his downtime into posing on Instagram. Hopefully some team in Europe will note his Germany U21 call ups and take a punt on him for a tidy price.

Remember what Phil (Hodgkinson) said regarding the squad now being complete, 1 in, 1 out from now and 'a 2 or 3 window transition.'
Phil Billing was not seen as part of the squad for next season so on that basis there is nothing to replace. I think from the clubs point of view we have our squad and are happy with it unless one of these leave in which they'll be replaced i.e. Anyone other than Billing, Zanka, Sabiri, Hamer.
I think we will bank the £15 million, see where we are in January, if we're in contention and there's an obvious gap that needs filling then it will be spent then. If not then it will be the following summer. i.e. '2 or 3 window transition'
Worth pointing out, I think that is the sensible option. No point spending it now on back up players, then see Grant get a serious injury in November and have nothing to spend in January - let's give it till then and see if and where it needs to be spent.

I agree, I rate Sabiri very highly in terms of potential and like yourself felt he was about to show what he could do, only to break his collarbone in the first few minutes of coming on. Something though has gone seriously wrong shown by Phil Hodgkinson looking like he was chewing a wasp when speaking about Sabiri at the Q&A. Holding his words back he stated clearly he did not foresee Sabiri being here at the beginning of the season. Possible free to Schalke?

I think most people see one or two positions we should be looking to improve on. I would like us to use some of the Billing fee to do that and keep some in the bank for later.
If we do nothing I would be a little disappointed particularly as he we can not have been counting on selling him to balance the books.

May have trouble finding a club who will pay him the rate he is on now some players get greedy and want paying off.

If Mooy or Hogg go we should go all out to bring Ryan Woods in, Surplus at Stoke. I see Lewis O’Brien as a similar player to him

As another poster suggested... Ryan Woods (Stoke City)
Top player and available for 5-6 million.

I think this sort of post demands an immediate yellow card, reason, logic and supportive of the club and players, no place for it on ere

Lewis o'Brian.
And I think he'll be as effective in the Championship as Billing was.

We've both clamoured after him for a long time pal. I saw him come through the ranks at Shrewsbury (actually broke into their team as a right back at first!) Very neat and tidy player. Plenty of bite too. Exactly type of player Town should be after.

Never even heard of his club, are they Dutch or Belgian ? Edit: just seen they're Belgian. I liked that Mollet on Saturday, he looked a player. I liked the look of one of the left sided players that Lyon had in the friendly last year, he looked well worth a cheeky bid......then Real Madrid signed him for £50m this summer 🤨
