He is definitely in the need a good start category. I’m concerned Phil has stuck with him as he’s cheap. If we don’t look any better tonight than we did last year the rumblings will only grow. I hope the club knows what they’re doing as this is a bloody good championship squad- probably the best in the division overall. Why we’re not even ‘aiming for promotion’ I don’t understand. There’s a massive gulf between the divisions. Hats what I’d be reminding all the players of tonight. We didn't do too badly the last time we weren't aiming for promotion |

My main concern is that if Jan doesn't step up to the plate and we remove him, big, fat, fucking Sam is lurking around out there, waiting.... I think he could get this squad promoted with £10M spend in January, which we should have. Not the brightest guy but in football you don’t need to be. Just be able to manage the players and basic tactics which he can do both. |

We didn't do too badly the last time we weren't aiming for promotion Different circumstances. We had a squad that looked more ready for league 1 than the prem last time we were in this league. This year I think it’s a mistake to not even claim to be attempting promotion. Set your goals and work towards them imo. Glad you did a stealth edit...I had to look up "attarmoting" as I thought I'd learnt a new word 😂 |
