Sorry if missed but with the departure of Smith has the club announced the new team captain?
Hogg and Schindler both had the arm band in pre-season, has it been confirmed who takes it?

Given we had Hadergonaj as the only other RB, taking the club captaincy off him was probably not the best way forward. I know he had his limitations but he’s a better bet than H. Now he’s gone there’s no better time than to get a young player blooded imo. |

Now he’s gone there’s no better time than to get a young player blooded imo. Making Schindler captain could also have kept him here by the same reasoning. Had Smith been captain yesterday it wouldn't have stopped Elphick commiting suicide. Herbert Bockhorn was brought over here as a RB. |
