Wouldn’t invest in the team, a team that couldn’t score. Chairman with no money.
History has an odd way of repeating itself

Jeez, 1 game & we get this... Your post would be relevant if tonights game was played in early Jan 2020, we were rock bottom & Grant had 3 goals to his name...
Give your head a shake...

We’ve lost at home in the first game. Performances were abject. Give your head a reality shake. Some of us have seen performances like tonight before and know where it ends

Rather than money on a striker I think it was midfield that didn't perform 1st half last night. The coach and his staff need to come to terms with the fact that trying to squeeze the ball down the touchline, albeit with lovely play, and putting in crosses that get blocked or find no one in a blue and white shirt, sometimes doesn't work. Another tactic needs to be found, especially when teams sit deep like Derby did second half last night. Therefore, midfielders who can find some space in the middle of the park like Mooy used to do, is paramount. Also, what happened to our working the ball out from the back - the thing we did all the time in preseason?

Yes, this was the most surprising of all after what I'd seen of him so far. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say it was nerves, but he and the team cannot go back to doing this after all we have gone through to produce a footballing side.

Personally, I think this season is about stopping the rot from last season. I do remember Town's decline in the seventies and yes history can repeat itself, but you can't predict that after one game.Winning breeds confidence and that is what Town need to do.

So in 111 years of history Town have gone down in successive seasons ONCE. Now after ONE game this season over FORTY SiX games people are talking about it happening again. Can't say I really like these odds.
