100% we can all see what is going to happen straight away. It will be 10 games in and we will be languishing in the relegation zone before he goes. Then no one will want to manage us with the situation we will be in Do it now before it's too late.

His tatics were shite - he clearly had not watched any videos of Derby. They had 2 Centre halfs who had no pace yet for the whole of the 2nd half we consistanly got it wide for a cross rather than run at them

I agree There was no improvement under him in the prem. He's had all summer to get his team playing how he wants and it hasn't happened.
It may only be 1 game in but sorry he is not the man to take us forwards.
Feel free to shoot me down if he proves me wrong but I've been saying this since late last season.

Gave JS benefit of doubt when he came in last season, after half an hour tonight I was thinking how much more time should he get......i'm really hoping he proves me wrong!

They had 2 Centre halfs who had no pace yet for the whole of the 2nd half we consistanly got it wide for a cross rather than run at them I’ve had this nagging feeling from day one that he has very limited awareness on the strengths weaknesses and approaches of the teams we’re up against. He often has this twinkle in his eye and a “I don’t want to tell you what their weaknesses are” type message, along with the “if we focus on our own game it doesn’t matter who we’re playing” mantra that everyone seems to spout. It may be that I totally misread the situation, or he has other team members working on all that aspect, or indeed he does like to keep his awareness close to his chest, but his attitude and approach simply don’t inspire me with confidence. Seems to be a lot of bravado and very little substance. Not allowed to criticise him though...Town tracked their man since before he was born. I do hope he’s a massive success...but from what I watched last season, pre season (despite the results) and tonight, I suspect the heights will be about 8h. I’ll be happy with that...hope we do a little better though.

I would give him a couple more games but if we haven’t won after 3 or 4 he needs to be gone.
I have said from the beginning it was stupid to go the exact same route as Wagner and expect another success story. The odds were immense.
In my opinion he failed to get any kind of reaction last season, even for a game or two. Was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt due to the situation he came into but we can’t persevere with him long.

If he really means that and has been too lazy/arrogant to do any research on the opposition then that is unforgiveable. He is well out of his depth.

Give him some championship quality signings at their peak / a few loan players!
Signing German 4-8th tier full backs, conference strikers and league 2 midfielders with potential doesn’t help his cause ...

The fact he was kept on after Southampton would suggest he's in it for the long haul. I really don't like his arrogance he's a nobody that's come from the German third division and won one game.
He's had a full pre season and had a transfer window to sign his players whilst getting rid of all the disruptive influences. What's his excuse now? Simply not good enough. Go now Jan.

I find it baffling that we have been so open and vocal about playing a 433. It looks like we are playing that regardless. It appears there was no scouting on Derby before last night. Lawrence given the freedom of Huddersfield, Pritchard given the job of marshalling Bogle and Dowell being aloud to control turn and carry the ball 30 yards time and time again. Absolute crap from Siewert. It got to the point where Derby were letting us play down the wings and cross because they knew no one would be on the end of it.

I am not a prolific poster and never moaned last season but I am now. I saw nothing to tell me this guy has any notion. We were awful, clueless and apathetic MST of the first half and derby cut through us with impunity. I believe we have the players, just not the leadership.

Three windows!! Three windows!! We'll be heading for div2 by then under Jan.. He came in and was so bad that 7 senior players said the didn't want to play for him (and God knows how many more didn't have the bottle to actually say they didn't).There was a clue there to how bad he's turning out. He does not appear to have any man management ability or any any quality (apart from shouting loudly) of any kind.
Just one cock up after another these days - first the awful signings last year then this unproven German 4th div manager put in charge finally Dean throws penny pinching Phil under the bus by conning him into becoming chairman.
At least it's not boring.

I've always said i'll back him till September.. But yesterday was awful. Can't see anything but a comfortable defeat on Saturday based on that. Eze and Hugill will have us on strings!

I thought all managers did their homework as some basic prep for a game, TBH. Finding the balance is obviously desirable. Nullify and exploit.
