Wonderful player, we could well have got automatic if he hadn't been kicked off the field by Newcastle (he played the first half of that season at Rotherham and was excellent there). Never recovered that form and has struggled with injury since.

He was very good. Would've liked him back myself. Just the injuries have set him back a bit, but bags of ability, brilliant first touch and chips in with goals and assists.

I thought he was good but caught the Town finishing disease while here. Lol.
Like him though and thought he did well for us

Missed a sitter in the playoff final, had a tap in and somehow put it wide.

Had a handful of good games for us. Showed promise but has yet to deliver anything like the level of consistency required.. Missed large parts of the last three seasons through injury.

A good replacement for Kasey Palmer when he got injured. Scored some important goals. Gets in the box well if played as a 10. Overall not as good as Palmer, but, a very good player IF he’s properly fit again.

If he as got over all his injuries then he would be in the Town team at the moment.

If you could combine Palmer and Izzy brown you’d have a seriously good footballer on your hands.

Not sure what you mean but the lad can play anywhere upfront or behind the front men and gets in the box which we need and is technically better than most we have.

Well, yes - but he's been injured a lot since leaving us so difficult to say. Here, he played as a number 10 - which means he'd have to be a different type of player now vs what he was when here in 2017.

Just the type of player we should have been after if we had wanted to be in the mix up, Alas.
The lad can play anywhere in midfield or up top.
Didn't Wagner want sign him permanently went we were promoted, But couldn't get the funds ?

I did question his injuries in my post and he was brought in to cover up front and then Kasey got injured and dropped into that position but when they did play Izzy played on the left.

He was very important for our promotion. He came in January with good form from Rotherham's relegation battle. He played as a no10 for us, but more recently Brighton had him on the left wing.
He added an extra spark to our team. Was quite direct getting into the box, running past the striker and scored some important goals. He is big and strong, relatively quick, with good control and skill. We tried to buy him, but were priced out by Chelsea who also gave him a new contract.
I have kept an eye on him since, but he has been injured for pretty much all that time.
The club did a good highlight video of his time:
That nutmeg at 1:26 is filthy.

Played very well for us and his efforts here much appreciated. Certainly seems to have gone off the boil since he left us, not sure why.
I'd have the "old" Izzy back here like a shot but not sure where he'd play - our current midfield aren't allowed in the penalty area and shooting on target is most certainly frowned upon.

Missed a sitter in the playoff final, had a tap in and somehow put it wide. But his slide-rule pass to Quaner at Hillsborough set up the goal that ultimately got us to the final. An excellent player Chads, and I'm sure he'd do a job for you.
