If you call that a year's contract at £100,000 a week, that's £5m a year they'll be spunking on him. That is quite possible. Just been told it's an 18 month contract. £7.5m ish then. I wouldn't get out of Colleens's bed for that. |

On the subject of the FA and a fine for “Sashgate” - maybe the perfect solution would be for the FA to fine us whatever amount we raise from the shirt sales - and then donate that to the charities. Charities get their cash, FA are seen to have followed their rules, everybody happy. |

The FA allow sponsorship from gambling companies that are renowned for stunts and then they react when a stunt is pulled!

honestly who the fuck is running the shitshow at the moment? It's like Dean said f..k it I'm out and everyone at the club was hit with a stupidity stick. they're all just sat in a corner rocking unable to even comprehend how foolish the club looks from the outside. Not only that but fair minded supporters are absolutely baffled as well. Is this the beginning of the perfect storm as far as town are concerned? Maybe they are in a position of running successful business ventures and don’t have a mental breakdown every week when things don’t go their way. Lets put this in to real context. What has happened that is soooo bad over the last couple of weeks. We have lost one game and inevitably lost Mooy. Because the manager hasn’t publicly broadcast an in depth interview about how all our feelings have been hurt, the club don’t engage with the fans. Jesus Christ, just give it half a dozen games, then we can discuss the season so far. Well there's the Paddypower incident which although it got town more publicity than they have probably ever had, has nerked off the powers that be at the top of the game.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a give it a few games guy myself. Yes I moan at results when they go against us (who doesn't?). My point is looking at the club as a whole which has had negative publicity lately not the footballing side. I don't really want to see Sean Jarvis having to come out with statements because it's not fair on Sean.

We're the club that likes a laugh and any publicity we can get from it don;t forget.
Our efforts last season quickly followed by Martin from Wakefield and the whole PP shirt thing and now our summer transfer business too!
Rather than Sean fronting up, maybe we need to employ some sort of Butlins red coat compere to orchestrate the fun and keep the campers happy?

A hat trick of FA charges for PH now, more than either of the club’s he owns can manage..... Must admit, I’m confused that he’s allowed to seemingly retain majority voting rights shareholding in Southport...surely that amounts to dual ownership?? Look at Southports confirmation statement, see “Astute Business Management Consultants”....that’s Phil Hodgkinson. |
