Reasoned criticism / concern is reasonable, even desirable at times. Personal (even libelous) abuse / attacks are not. Some, not all, need to take a long hard look at themselves. Exactly, part of me thinks it would be great if some on here were taken to court for liable. The personal insults and unfounded claims are rediculous
The club should be taken to court for being so bloody unre-liable........:-)

Have you ever played football ? He’s the only player that could win a game singlehanded, he’s the only player of his standard in that team , he’s the player everyone in the stadium knew that could change a game with a single pass , he would conjure up a piece of magic give it to someone like Kachunga who would then put it into row z. So yea sometimes he would get fed up with people simply not being able to do what he could but saying he couldn’t be arsed ....really ! either you never played or if you did you were not up to much , or you would know the difference between frustration and not being arsed. Mooy hasn't scored from open play since November and recorded only one assist last season, I can't remember when that was but I'm sure somebody can. In fact he only recorded four assists in 65 Premier League matches, one being in our first game against Crystal Palace. Think you're going overboard a little. I accept your point to a degree but I’d also say that stats don’t help when you are looking to attribute the ability to influence a game. For example if Mooy wins a tackle in midfield , sprays the ball to Kachunga who then crosses for Grant to tap in , Grant gets the goal , Kachunga gets the assist and Mooy gets nothing stats wise. If someone is really going to town on stats he may get a tackle count or completed pass. Mooy was the biggest influencer on a game we had by a country mile .

We now have no midfield player capable of influencing a game.

Today is just a sad day and a bit embarrassing also. When you read Twitter and see some of the comments and then realise you know some of these people...it beggars belief what people think they can actually say. Some of what has gone on today isn't healthy or acceptable; it is like folk have totally lost their rationality. It is certainly not normal from my perspective. Or maybe, chatting bullshit without any type of filter is the new normal. Forever Town, whatever happens. This is the age we are in. Perhaps it is a reflection of how powerless people feel that they take to social media and write stuff that they would never say to people. It’s sad and pathetic but that is where we are at. (‘‘Tis probably the same people who blame those on benefits, immigrants and the EU for all our woes.)

[Supposing PH reads all this shit and thinks fuck it, I don't need this shite, and walks away? Is that really going to help the situation? Yes? 🤷♂️🤣

In fairness it's totally understandable. Phil has unfortunately made two key promises- 3 premier loan players and one in one out with replacements lined up. Loaned out our best midfielder and replaced with a Hogg replica based on Jan's comments. His comments naturally raised my and many other fans hopes after a shocking year of passionless football. We watch the Derby debacle playing a system no one has a clue which players it helps then he makes one change which gives us two wingers and Pritch in the middle and gives its next to no time before taking off our two threats in Adama and Karlan and replaces with two players that wouldn't scare my grandma in terms of goal threat. It's a mess unfortunately. We need a performance at QPR or it'll turn very quickly. Where on earth has the 15million gone? The premiership appears to have crippled us!! This is one of the worst posts I have read on here. There is a lot of competition! - he didn't promise 3 loans - he said 1 in 1 out on the squad players, sometimes it is not possible in the time available - we are still doing business - you can not have gone to the derby match sober - its not a mess - you turn if you want to 95% of fans wont (sorry about the corruption of thatcher quote)

Because someone doesn’t agree with another’s thoughts on how the club is being run makes them a bed wetter, dummy spitter etc. It’s a matter of opinion, a forum to display that, whether it being happy clapping or getting your titties in a twist. I don’t agree with some people’s opinions, it’s there opinion though I think it may be wrong, I won’t start a thread on it calling them out. Some people, myself included want to know what’s happening, I don’t see any positives out of today at all. It was our best chance to get back up this season. I fully understand Mooy wanted to probably go, but we could have been a bit harder in the market, look at Leeds for god sake, in fact look at Bristol, Cardiff, QPR etc. I stated earlier PH and JS can both fuck off, that’s my opinion, they can for me. I don’t agree with personal abuse mind you, however JS is still a PE teacher in my eyes, hardly calling him a c u next Tuesday mind you. You have the people who will take positives if Town were liquidated, you’d have people in the middle on no side and then you’d have the so called dummy spitters. We all voice our opinions, it doesn’t make you any better starting a thread just because you don’t like what some of us have had to say. that's not an opinion, its a statement of physical capacity. We are all entitled to an opinion on whether or not some dick is a bed wetter/dummy spitter.

Agreed. Although I expected us to be frugal there's being frugal and then there's town who are acting like they don't have two brass Penny's to rub together. What is going on here? I totally understand the fear that we don't want to end up like Bolton however surely a bit of speculation wouldn't hurt? Can anyone really see us in the top half let alone top six? Is the money being used by he new chairman to buy the club? Some are in the know on here but from the outside worrying times ahead... The club has always been penny pinching though, it's nothing new. rubbish £249 for a season ticket. £100 for 1st season in the prem.

It's the timing of AM's departure that irks me. The final afternoon of deadline day. Of all the times it could happen. And this new contract/loan carry on. Seems odd at best. Doesn't fill me with optimism at all. not with in the clubs power. short of a punitive act to piss off a great player, solid man who has a huge place in our clubs history. Oh and whatever is value is if he had walked away later.

The fact that Brighton were prepared to say £5m or fuck off, we'll have him for nothing at the end of the year. It's how it works, it's also what we did to Charlton. rubbish his old agent was the issue.

You get my point though 😂 I do its just when people make statements on subjects that they look at in 1 dimension and ignore everything else cause a shit storm of discontent. It puts other posters off reading the stuff on here. If DATM isn't careful it will become a forum to slag each other and club off. Genuine news and observations are lost in shit storm. I don't use social media much because it produces things like Boris and Trump who rely on winding up marginal but active support to spread misinformation. Yep I am past my prime but I look at this pragmatically, I am a committed long standing fan through think and thin. I do believe that Dean is what he portrays and has the best interest of the club, posters expecting us to join in the brain damaged thinking that pays footballers £300k per week and values Maguire at 80 million are asking for a major fall. May be this forum is not meant for me.

Its history now, but the reality is, whatever happened dean was the chairman who signed the contract with mooy without a one year extension on it, which then gave Brighton and mooy the leverage to move without a large fee, which a lot of us thought was on the cards. In any case, hes carried our midfield first 3 years and we now need to move on, stop blaming people (the reason I'm making this point is cos of the amount of Pussies on here wailing about Phil letting him go without a replacement), and hopefully start with Kongolo at centre back today ffs. Final point on the money, what if dean and phil as the main directors are playing the long game in terms of reinvestment so we dont get our pants pulled down again and certainly so we dont end up where we did in 2003. It's better to have money in a long term investment fund than throw it in the air and hope for the best Alla derby county, and then have to find £80m to buy the stadium to cover the losses for one more year.

Some posters on here would make a positive out of the stadium burning to the ground. For months I’ve been saying it’s going wrong , we not signing anyone , etc etc and all the positive spinners have been able to say is “chill out it’s only 1st of July “ “ windows not shut yet “ “ take a pill trust the club “ well guess what ........... Being a realist does not make me and others teddy chuckers If We are really struggling after 10-15 games of the season you might be able to say I told you so but not after one game for gods sake The thing is, who is painting a positive picture? I can only see people getting cheesed off with SOME posters who are being virtriolic, including at times when it's presently conjecture.
