Might have been the refusal to sign a new deal before the season we went up?

Not the best striker we've had but played his part in our promotion so worth a clap.

Probably just another indication of the amount of knob heads who have started following town in the lady 3 years.

Embarrassing to be honest. Gave his all everytime he played and scored arguably the most important and under pressure penalty that got us to the Premier league.

So if you are saying.. 1. Only Hardcore fans travel to away games. 2. Being hardcore means you are therfore also intelligent and not a knob head. 3. No fans travel to away games that haven't been doing so for more than 3 years. Then I defer to your superior knowledge on these matters.

Not all would travel 400 miles. Some probably live in London. Anyway hardcore or not booing Nahki Wells is embarrassing and uncalled for,

Everyone clapped him where I was, middle lower. They immediately equalised so the clapping didn't last long.

Didn't hear a single person booing him round our block (middle of upper stand) Agreed. It must have been the "knobhead free" section. Although TBH if anyone was booing it was nothing like "half of our fans" as suggested as few seem to have heard any.

Wells made a clear effort to clap the Town fans at the end and I would say from the top tier he got a better reception and warmer applause (and a song I recall) than the Town team that were slowly walking over. He got a decent reception would be my view.

How's it come to a point where Wells is coming on for QPR and Collin is coming on for Town?

I did hear a bit of booing when he came on, but it only sounded like a very small number of fans and certainly not half of them!
I think the majority of us were expecting him to pop up with a 94th minute winner!

I can't think of even the slightest reason why Wells could deserve booing. Without his cool headed penalties we'd probably not have made it to the Premier League.

All I heard after applause was ‘he’s going to score’ ‘Oh no’ ‘Shit’ ‘You know what’s going to happen now’
